Hello everyone. So I've been speaking to a lot of people that are planning to go to california this fall to work trimming plants. My friend is wanting to do the same. He is a UK citizen, and knows other people in the UK that have done this in the past few years. He is in two minds over whether to do this or not, and the main concern is that he will not be able to get any work. Googling to try and find out how easy it would be to obtain work is leading to some confusion. People say that outsiders are never hired, some people say there are never enough trimmers. A lot of information pages and blogs are several years old, so it is hard to find info on the current situation. Advice from people that have been before is to show up and ask stoner folk if they can hook you up with work… But is this likely to yield any results? At the moment its looking very unclear what kind of results to expect. Can anyone here offer any advice on what to do. I'm not asking for contacts, just general advice on how my friend should try and obtain work, if at all. It would be useful to hear from people outside the states on their experiences. And also advice on what time of year to show up? Some people say get there in August, some people say October… Thanks for any advice!
