Is it safe to take Tramadol 2 days after LSD?

On thursday night I split a potent tab of very good acid with a friend and was tripping balls.
It is now saturday evening and I have two 50mg Tramadol capsules.

I was going to take one Tramadol on the comedown of my acid trip, but my friend convinced me otherwise.
I said to her that I wanted to take a Tramadol to chill out as I had work in 3 hours.
She said "That won't work. It's pain relief, not Valium. It won't do what you want it to."
I ended up not popping it as I figured it would just make me higher...

Now, I knew that Tramadol was an opiod and not an opiATE, and that it released serotonin as well.
But I had NO clue that my friend potentially saved my life.

I read today that Tramadol and LSD have an extremely nasty interaction:
Serotonin Syndrome.

Would I be safe dosing one 50mg capsule tonight, or how long should I wait before consuming?
 
You should be fine, I don't think a single 50mg dose of tramadol is likely to induce serotonin syndrome even if taken with the LSD (I wouldn't risk it though, personally I wouldn't combine tramadol with anything-- nor would I advise anyone to. It's pretty nasty stuff, TBH).

I would be more worried about the tramadol lowering my seizure threshold personally, as I have seen seizures induced by psychedelics by themselves and tramadol is notorious for lowering seizure threshold.

Hence why I said "I wouldn't risk it" right after I said that. :D

I just honestly don't think serotonin syndrome would be a likely occurrence given one 50mg dose of tramadol combined with a reasonable amount of LSD. I'm no expert on the matter, though-- just my opinion.
 
Hope you had a great trip! LSD only stays in the system for less than 1 hour the rest of the trip is a serotogenic chain reaction to the compound. Tramadol is a non opiate that effects serotonin as well as other hormones; regardless, 2 days of coming down your serotonin will act normally and Tramadol won't be any problem! Tramacet is better cause it contains tylenol not asperin so make sure you eat something so your tummy won't hurt and also minimizes nausea from the tramadol.
 
it was on BL i read quite a fair amount of posts from people saying they got SS from taking 1 or 2 while on acid.
i bought them for when my back plays up, ill just keep them for that.

one time i took a 50mg tammy early in the day and at night i dosed some L and am pretty sure i was about to be in full fledged SS. It was a very bad experience, i think youll be fine if you take it after tho
 
Serotonin syndrome is awful, but I don't believe you would suffer ill effects. The LSD had since stopped working on your brain and introduce the Tramadol and it will begin to wrok on your brain. Perfect.
