Heroin Is it safe to sleep while on heroin?

I recently smoked some heroin and it made me really sleepy. But I'm nervous about falling asleep, because how opiates kill is by making you not breathe enough. If I'm asleep, I can't be sure that I'm breathing. So my question is, how do I know whether or not I'm too high to sleep without fear of dying?

Completely understand this cus that anxiety of going to sleep and not waking up ruins the high. probably a good idea to use with someone else or have someone that can check on you if you want to go to sleep. With a low tolerance id say its best to stick to pills like oxys until you build one cus they wont be laced with adulterants and certain doses definitely wont kill you so you can just enjoy that high without worrying
