On monday i was longboarding and slid out through some grass and smacked my head going about 15-20, im not sure if i got a concussion because im not really familliar with the symptoms. However, i was confused for about 10 minutes afterwards and have gotten lightheaded a few times since the incident. The headache is mild and my head doesnt physically hurt but i remember hitting my head and everything looking like stars/go to black/white, then i stood up to proceed to look for the button that fell off my shorts on impact (acting strange). i was just curious if it is okay to roll on saturday at dayglow??

Btw, i am prescribed 60 mg vyvanse, should i avoid taking it until the roll? (i havnt done this the past few times except the day of and was wondering if its bad)

feedback please:)%)

NOO. Horrible idea, take it from me, I did it. Put it this way, I have that many symptoms now, that I have no fucking idea what they correspond to, and i'm far from recovered from using MDMA and from my concussion.

Im 16 months post, aswell.

I've seen someone on an other forum asking the same question and didn't listen when people said he shouldn't. He regret it afterwards just like the poster above.

thanks for the feedback guys, im going to my doctor today at 2:30 to get checked out and ill let you guys know the severity of my concussion.
so no rolling for a few months? after that is it okay? i heard that a concussion stays with you your whole life, is this true?

its already been months though :p so i was anticipating and this is my first paint rave! so in 2 months or so i should be good to go?

I waited until I felt 100% better, took about 6 months after a mild one. Some severe concussions take 2 years.

Indeed concussions stay with one their entire lives, in a sense of scarring in the brain. But eventually scars fade over time, as do symptoms of a concussion.

I'd just be safe and wait. MDMA tends to make the brain retain water which doesn't go well with a concussion. MDMA tends to cause hyponatremia (low sodium level-the leading cause of MDMA-death) which often happens when the user drinks too much sodium-free water, however in some cases users have died from cerebral edema even after not consuming any water at all. It is not well-understood why this happens other than that the MDMA directly or indirectly raises anti-diuretic hormone which causes water retention, and much of the retention happens to occur within the brain.
