Is it safe to mix zanax and oc???

Ok...A few weeks ago, being the idiot that I am, I hapharzardly mixed these two drugs and smoked some marijuana. I am just wondering if it is an unsafe mix, and if I did permanant harm to my body?
BTW, I took only .25 mg zanax and 5mg Ocycodone.

Hehe. No, you didn't cause "permananent harm to your body."
Although this combo *can* be dangerous, as both OC and Xanax are CNS depressants, some people enjoy the effects. .25mg Xanax isn't really going to do anything, though.
Don't worry. Your brain isn't any more damaged than before.

You're fine mixing a small amount of benzos and Oxycontin. Yes they are both depressants, but you'll live. The worst that could happen is you get a little sleepy. I'm not even going to say how much of the 2 of those drugs I like to mix quite often.
 
No, the worst that could happen is death. Be safe, like i said, reasonable doses of the two are fine, but watch out when going above 1.5mg xanax with more than 15mg oxy if you don't have a tolerance.

Jesus! Be safe people, but there is "cautious" then there is "overly paranoid and crazy" .. benzos are a CNS depressant, but they don't have much depressive effect on any of the important life-support systems... if you do to much Oxycodone, you can get in trouble... Xanax wont hurtcha, but it could knock you out..
So rail up 20mg-40mg OC and a nice, fat Xanax bar.. I wouldnt throw any alcohol into the mix, and the marijuana seems like it would only ruin the otherwise great high/combo..

PhreeX dude, if he's a newbie to opiates and benzos, 2mg xanax and 20-40mg oxy would be way too much for him too properly enjoy the experience.
Of course, if you've got tolerance, then this kind of dosage is fine.

Moderation people.
Know your limits. Know a good amount of information about the drugs you are taking.
I've mixed a whole crap load of drugs that were supposed to be "lethal", or whatever else people say. But I always play safe and don't do too much at all of any one drug when mixing.
 
Shit, I guess 2 mg of Xanax could just knock out a complete newbie. I remember the very first time I tried any benzos and it was a 2 mg Xanax bar. I felt like I had consumed a 12 pack of beer and could barely stand.
I couldn't even imagine that stuff having that effect now. I don't even enjoy benzos that much anymore. That is unless I take 6 or 8 mg of something.
 
Even for a total opiate virgin, you needto rail at LEAST 20mg OC to get a good feeling for the high.. some people are less responsivle then others - my ex had to rail 40mg her first time.. as for the Xanax - yeah, it takes 6mg-10mg to get me off, but I thought 2mg was like a base dose - the lowest possible..
Another reason why we need to restrict posts asking for suggested doses...

i disagree PHREE..one does NOT have to rail at least 20 mg for the first time to get high..i remember taking OXY at 10 mg(crushed and snorted) and i felt it great..it had me high for 2-3 hours..i stand 5'10 and weigh around 230 lbs, and have taken OPIATES in the past...i didnt have much of a TOLERANCE to OPIATES, but its not like it my first time..
its whacked out how LADIES(little girls) can sit back and RAIL 40 mg to feel anything...that must SUCK having that much of a NATRURAL TOLERANCE...
 
I'm not getting involved in this stupid, neverending bullshit "How much Oxycodone is too much for a virgin" fight...why? Cuz I'm right and you call all go fuck yourselves

Anyway...IMHO, to answer the question...not only safe [in moderation...blah blah...] but it's reccomended!

If I was a doctor I would prescribe that combination for everything...what CAN'T opiates fix? Then throw in the Benzo's?
