Harm Reduction is it possible to vaporize tramadol freebase?

I have purified and basified my tramadol im not expecting wonders here, I would just like to know if it would be active.
I don't want to ruin my lungs and throat for no reason, I have no problem smoking/vaping, I usually take tram orally, I want to take it orally and vape doeses to achieve the initial effects not the mu agonism a 1/2 hour later..

..this is not a can this get me high thread, I want to know how harmful this would be and weigh the risk/benefit ratio

Seeing how tramadol is a pro-drug I don't think you'd have any success smoking it even as a base. You may shorten the time to feel the effects by a few minutes but even if it worked, the tramadol your body receives will still need to be broken down into its primary metabolites before its of any use to you. In my opinion, its literally of no use to vaporize.

The anti-depressant effects would be instant. You will be up quite fast to the stimulating effects of it.

It would be a pow in terms of severe mood enhancement, followed by a more mellow state.

Just imagine oral usage speed up by quite a bit.

^ Jay, one would logically think it wouldn't do anything via that ROA since tramadol is converted in the liver.

Are you speaking from experience? How big are the doses vaped?

tramadol is still active as a SNRI and stuff, and a weak opioid.

Realistically smoking/vaping tramadol would pose no advantage to people trying to use it as an opioid, because indeed most of the opioid effects come from its metabolite o-desmethyltramadol.

Don't vape tramadol, just eat it.
