Is it possible to OD on morphine/Mscontin without feeling high?

Hi. I usually take Oxycontin 20 mg ops but have run out of my prescription. I've come across some MScontin 100 mgs. I took one and felt absolutely nothing so I took another 3/4 of a pill. According to the BL conversion chart about 30 mgs of Morphine is equal to about 20mgs of Oxy but that doesn't seem right since I barely caught a buzz. I was pretty much just relaxed and not experiencing any withdrawal symptoms, but had no feelings of euphoria. I've heard other people say they need at least 300mgs of MScontin to feel anything, but I'm not sure what their typical dose of OC is.

I'm a bit of a pussy when it comes to opiates, I have anxiety problems but don't dare take benzos while on my pain meds since I had a friend in high school die that way. I started to get worried that I might have taken too much of the MScontin and had a slight panic attack and thought I was going to stop breathing. Of course it was all in my head and after my girlfriend calmed me down I just relaxed and eventually went to sleep. My 1st question is what's a good dosage for me if I usually chew up 3 OC OP 20's to catch a buzz if I'm instead using MSContin and my 2nd question is if it is possible to OD on morphine to the point of respiratory depression without feeling high.

The Bioavailability of Oral morphine is incredibly low and the Bioavailability of oxy is incredibly high so you would have to titrate your dosage according to this.

I would recommend plugging the morphine. It is the only way I do it. I do it daily with my pain script.

All depends what your referring to. Compared to oral morphine I would go with 1/5 the dose easy. Compared to snorting, I would say 1/2 with plugging. Even though plugging isnt truly 50% more effective then snorting, the greater rush can easily confuse bioavailability with the actual plasma levels.

Right. I've tried snorting these before but the MScontin gels up ion your nose and doesn't work for shit. If I plug it will it still work as a time release or should I be careful and only take about 1/5 of the pill?
