is it possible that coke doesnt affect some people?

i came across a g of coke, and decided id like to try and see the effects. the guy who got it sniffed 3 lines and was set i guess.
i kinda sniffed 2 and nothing, another 2. finished at least half the bag.
and still nothing.
now im sure effects first time might be subjective, but there was no euphoria, changed perception, body buzz or even dilated pupils.
i couldnt drink like a fish or anything, and an hour later i started feeling tired aswell.
my gf had the same reaction??!!
no pills, k, weed all hit us fine.
any ideas?
 
Yeah, it's possible that you may be one of the few people that don't "get" cocaine high. More than likely though, you just got shitty/ cut to hell cocaine. Try it again sometime when you can get some that you can be sure of the quality.
 
well, im pretty sure that it was good stuff, as the guy who offered(and did it with me) is the guy who gets it for everyone else.
i did actually try some venezualan(sp?) coke before from another guy(high grade stuff as he is very well connected) and that didnt do much either.
only differance between the two i noticed was that the venezuelan stuff was smoother, that that could be the way it was powdered.
and no i didnt pay for it, either time.
anyways, personally looking at the price of coke and some of the user stories im glad in a way that it didnt affect me.
i waas just wondering if it was physically possible to not get high on it(im guessing 1/2 a G for my more or less first time using should have given me something at least?)

I have known many people over the years that did not like the high from cocaine and even a few that really felt no euphoria from very good quality powder. Even the few that didn't experience the euphoria felt a speedy feeling. Did you at least get a speedy/ wide awake feeling?
Yes, it's possible that you may be one of those few.
"Venezuelan" cocaine? It would be highly doubtful that your dealer knows which country the cocaine came from as it passes through many hands before he gets it. Of course, if he said "Coloumbian" than he would have a better argument but it wouldn't sound as neat to other peeps that know no better. Don't believe everything you dealer tells you.
 
You said that you felt tierd after an hour, coke should only last about 30-40mins shouldnt it?
I've never really understood coke either, the few times I have done it (reasonable stuff) it seemed a little pointless, very expencive for not much of a high at all.
 
My m8 didnt feel much from coke, but i think it was mental. I think he believe there to be a sort of pill buzz, but he never got that and all he sed was "this is wank it doin nuthin" so i think it was a mental state he put himself in.
If he was thinkin differently it might have worked
 
Welcome to the club - many guys simply "don't get" cocaine... I am the same way - the first time I did cocaine I thought I had been ripped off (though the girl I was with was going ape-shit about how incredible it was) .. when I finally got pissed and snorted like a half gram, I only got a tiny bit of energy... so I wrote coke off, until I went to my first "shooters party" .. I hated cocaine, but was told to bring a few hundred bucks to a party and that my mind would be changed... sure enough, a night of hard core IV coke use showed me the drug isn't worthless when you shoot it into your veins!!
 
heres a question. if you needed to inject to feel it, then i suppose the people who feel it without injecting should in theory get an even better high injecting it than you injecting. leads me to think that its just not worth it.
....so far at least :)
 
Cocaine is one drug which seems to either grab people, or is uninteresting. I "like" it, but don't buy it, due to its short term high, and the hellashish comedown I get.
I know some drugs just don't effect some people. Two buddies of mine never get tripped out on acid, no matter how good it is.
 
Im "one of those few" that get a really speedy feeling like im wired but have no feeling of euphoria whatsoever. ive tried it maybe 4 or 5 times and the same thing happens each time. is there anything i can do, besides using iv, to make it work better or should i just give up and stick with my beans? thanx
 
I think it's time for a "Neophites Guide ro IV Cocaine Use" .. something for people that are drug virgins to expairment.... I am too tired, and not out of drugs, so if someone wants to give writing a go, then by all means please reply to this with wjayever you have - remember, this guide should apeal to people that have very limited experience with any controlled substance[/b] .. sooner or later they are going to start IV'ing drugs, well, IV coke is a really good "first bang" ... if you disagree with Dr. PhreeX Teaching Methods and Harm Reduction Principles, by all means, feel free to me - [phreex-(AT)-crew-(DOT)-bluelight-(DOT)-nu]
 
The only person in a position to do coke consistently with no worries is either a female and/or a dealer...
The price is pretty expensive at the bottom of the food chain and my advice is...
If you don't take a liking to it, or even if you do...stay away from it...

Most people, from what I've seen over my years of drug abuse, don't feel the high the first few times they do it.
My theory on this is as follows...
Before people do coke, they believe it has some BIG huge noticeable high that will have them mad fucked up, which is the same thing I thought the first time I did it. I thought that simply because of what I had heard from school, others, etc... So in turn people don't get that mad fuckedupness that they expected so they really don't notice anything, simply because they don't know what to look for. The high isn't bluntly obvious like in the case with X and acid.
But in reality coke really isn't really a great rushy high (unless IV'd) that I originally expected. But nonetheless it is a decent high.
Its a high that is learned after a few tries.
BTW: My first three occasions doing coke I felt nothing. I finally learned the high on my fourth.
 
I acctaully had the same problem and i agree with extracyii i was looking for a fucked up feeling and a few days b4 that i took acid and k and no sleep so i was probably less sensitve.... I have done it once with a few friends i know its the real thing cuase the kid that got it we are close friends and he did it a few mroe times b4 that and siad that it is real and he likes it... i know i just didnt really feel it. and another note if you need to know how to look for the high how good can it be anyway?
