My ROA of choice for oxy ir is plugging, I like the quicker onset and the fact that I can dose effectively regardless of my stomach contents. Although I'm familiar with all steps of the process there is one thing I don't understand, why is it necessary to lie on your side for 20 minutes?

I know it's supposed to help absorption but wouldn't it be just as effective to be lying on stomach, back, sitting down, or even just standing or walking around? -

I dont think its necessary but rather its relative to the amount of liquid that you plan on absorbing. If you got the entire dose into a small amount of water because your digestive system is good at the reuptake of water or you would dehydrate a small amount of liquid should absorb in a short amount of time given the surface area of the muscle.

I think the reason they say to stay in that position has more to do with the fact that the whole thing probably doesnt work as well if the substance is toward the sphincter as that is the loading dock once its there it probably doesnt absorb the water as well as if its deeper.

If you are so seasoned in it then perhaps its time to do some experimenting? I am not sure but it seems to be a lesser used ROA as people look at me funny when i say i wanna try it with MDMA it seems beneficial.
