Is it easy to get prescribed cannabis in California?

For medical purposes, is it easy to get Medical weed in California?? Up north here, the only way you can get it is if you are dying of AIDS, or are getting kemo. I heard in California you can get weed if you sprain your wrist, or have a really bad head ache? Is this true?? Is it easier to get prescribed weed in California will all the weed dispensaries, then other states/countries?
