Info needed & Help with Identification. MDMA//METHYLONE

A fish acquaintance of mine is currently on a come down from what seems to be black/ very dark brown MDMA from the outside of the rocks.
Using his opposable fins, said fish can crush the rocks into a light, off-white powder.

Le Fish-ay has more than he could shake a fin at - 10g, plundered from the Wet n Dark Web for ridiculously good fishDollar. This leads me to believe either the quality or identity of the substance is a bit skewiff.

This Fish is retarded when it comes to resisting redose urges with any abusable substance. I blame his dodgy swim bladder & inevitable inbreeding amongst his Sister-Mums® and Dad-Brothers® at the pet store.
My Fish has already gobbled and inhaled about 2g's of the stuff over the past 10 hours...

Tardy-Fish managed to stuff the following into his gills (in chronological order) :

1 x 33 - test bump
2 x 33mg - line
1 x 250mg - bomb
6 x 100mg - line (1 every 40 mins)
1 x 100mg - bomb

Then an hour later:
1 x 200mg - line
1 x 250mg bomb

Another hour later:
1 x 150mg - bomb

Anothernother hour later:
1 x 300mg - bomb

Apart from being pretty scatty from the stacking stimulation and the fierce rythmic heartbeat with the force of a 10,000-man hippie drum circle (Fish-ay usually has these problems with stims, even when he's not being a fiendish Idiot of a Fish ), it felt pretty good.

Fishy-foos has MDMA'd a fair few times before, although I heard dat dis Fish isn't that big a fan of MDMA because, apart from his first night, its never had that sparkle or euphoria, which means he can never seem to fully let his luscious locks of fish hair down. All stimulants seem to bestow a cursed edition of their normal social magic on my Fish, instead making him withdrawn and introspective...

... Fish obviously has the big metaphorical stick of insecurity up his arsebottom. Sigh.

Ahem. Sorry for waffling on.

As for the dutty details of the substance in question:
- Black/ very dark brown appearance as Large 3g rocks.
- Off-white when crushed.
- Thick stench of the sickliest aniseed in the world that's verging on actually being visible.
- Tastes similar to what is expected of MD, although this was found to be particularly repulsive & bitter (made Fish gag).
- Less harsh upon insufflation than what is expected of MD/ hardly any burn.
- Very stimulanty and clear-headed in effects rather than euphoric, hard to tell if this is a give away of it being or if that's just Fish's shitty relationship with MD.

Anyway, with the little information I've given, any light you shine onto this
identity crisis would be much appreciated by that super sexy Fishy gay lover of mine.

I know an underwater testing kit would be a lot more reliable but I also know that asking the internet is free. I know pretty much everything. Apart from what this substance is.

Further info:
- no prior experience of methylone
- I've read that redosing is pretty ineffective with methylone. As you can see, the Fishy redosed a fair bit and he's whispering into my ear, along with the obvious sweet nothings of love, that the redosing kept him pretty high. Although that isn't too surprising with the dose sizes.

I'm coming to the conclusion that it is most likely MDMA. Weird lookin' & weird feelin' MDMA, but MDMA nonetheless.

Still, any info you could give me on methylone that'd link to any of my observations would be A+++

I'm also curious about other people experiences of MDMA of a similar colours

The only way to find out what substance you bought is buying a test kit. Have you checked out our MDMA & Empathogenic Drugs sub-forum yet? You'll get lots of good information there. Please speak in the first person when writing, no swim, my fish, dog, etc. Thanks.

Both MDMA and methylone (and most other empathogens) should be slightly off white powders when pure. Re-dosing on methylone works fine in my experience, but methylone doesn't provide a clear headed high. That sounds a bit like my experience with 4-mmc...
If that was even remotely pure MDMA you took WAY too much. If you didn't get a comedown from hell it probably wasn't MDMA.
Agreed about buying a test kit, that is the only way to tell what you are getting.

Yeah man. You took 2 grams. Even if you knew for a fact what chemical it was, which you don't, 2 grams of methylone or MDMA is a hell of a lot, could be asking for a bad time.

Lots of drugs can look different depending on who made it and what not. I have definitely come across brownish colored rock/crystal MDMA before. It was decent, nothing special but I definitely wasn't complaining. Every time I have done methylone, it took almost 2x as long, sometimes longer than MDMA to kick in and i would usually reach a peak much faster as well it was a bit more overwhelming, and less psychedelic compared to MDMA.

Not quite sure what you are asking though, are you just trying to get people to guess what drug you bought? Because seeing as how you already bombed 2 grams, it doesn't matter all that much eh? You asked the house to make sure the dice weren't loaded, except you've already rolled them.

Spend some money, get a test kit. And be safe bud :D

Hopefully, you meant to write "Root-beer flavored" instead of "Aniseed." The two are somewhat similar, but the first is more likely to be an Mdxx love drug, and the latter points to PMxx. Of course, if it had been PMxx, you would have already died from taking that much in that period of time.

I was in las vegas last week and my buddy bought a gram of molly when he came back to the car it was a dark black powder but he swore it was mdma cuz of the consistency he has with his connect. well i tasted it and it was for sure some chemical type tasting like mdma but wasnt sure so didnt test it but another guy swore it was fire so idk. maybe food coloring?
