Misc "Is Chantix an opiate antagonist?"

This is be really interesting to find out. Maybe folks in OD can add something? If not I'll try AD. Thanks gals (and guys)!

I apologize if my post is placed in the wrong spot, I wasn't able to find anything online, though I did dig through a lot of the junk that came up when I googled or whatever else...

I am (legally) prescribed Norco 10s as well as 2mg lorazepam.

I would like to know:
1.) IS it (Chantix) actually an opiate antagonist.
2.) If it is, how long after taking the Chantix does the opiate antagonist lose its effect?


Thanks to anyone who can knowledgeably answer my question...
I'm really wanting to know as much information as I can, while still getting a straight answer.
