Lysergamides Is acid consistently good these days or did I just get lucky?

I first did LSD now & then back in the mid-70s and it was usually in microdot form-- purple, blue, or yellow. I remember it being pretty good and usually (but not always) real strong.

In the 1980s I was doing a LOT of acid and it was always blotter-- various designs, sometimes plain white. It was generally very good: clean, strong, long-lasting. But now & then I'd get something that was a little disappointing. Like 1 out of 20.

Then in the 90s and early 2000s it seemed very hit or miss. Sometimes fantastic, other times very weak. So I just stuck to shrooms over the past 20 years because they were always consistent.

I recently got two batches of blotter within a couple of months and I am extremely impressed. The first was Alice In Wonderland-themed and I thought damn, this is good! Then I got some blank white and it was even better-- possibly the best acid I've ever taken.

So, is this the norm? If so, wonderful!
Or is it just because I haven't done acid in a long time? I kinda doubt this because I'm only taking one-week breaks between trips.
Or did I just get lucky?
 
Not really here to answer your question cos I haven't done acid in nearly 5 years now although I am thinking of having a summer of acid and ass after not having either for half a decade ("this year shit's getting fucking fucked up, round two acid prawn summer uncut")

That's it the Alice in wonderland tabs.

I know it doesn't always follow but the last acid I did was purple smoking caterpillars and they were the strongest fucking acid I've ever had, like hands down blew everything else out of the water. Super deep, clean experience that fucking annihilated me and my mate. Not a clue how strong they were but were easily 4x stronger than a single good hit. Like honestly i was left questioning how they laid blotter that strong without using another drug entirely but it had the unmistakable character that nothing else has ever mimicked successfully.

....yeah I'm definitely dropping some acid this summer
 
I did acid in 2023 for the first time in 16yrs, it was blotter I acquired from a reliable vendor of multiple drugs, and I had the best visuals I’ve ever had, and was very impressed - almost overwhelmed- by the strength. So acid seems to be at least as good as it ever was if not better! And I’ve mostly done very high purity liquid acid.

i thought ald-52 was orange sunshine too from reading the wickipedia of ald-52, but then i read again, and it reads like orange sunshine is actually lsd-25:

"The Orange Sunshine we delivered was LSD 25. ALD 52 was an ill-advised desperate defense strategy that failed miserably... The story of Orange Sunshine is complicated by the fact that The Brotherhood distributed LSD from more than one manufacturer as Orange Sunshine. Nick and I made the original Orange Sunshine in Windsor. That was the last lab I worked in making LSD. Ron Stark managed several LSD labs in Europe and most of his output was tableted and sold as Orange Sunshine. At least some of the LSD that his labs made was not pure."

i don't know what people were calling it back in the day for the real history.. i'd like to know... orange sunshine was popular from what i understand. i wonder if all those people were really taking ald-52... was orange sunshine slang you heard on the net, or was that what you're circle was calling it back in the day @ Delsyd? always was really curious about what people were actually using. ald-52 is one of the older analogues though i'm pretty sure.
 
Glad to hear that good 'cid is the rule rather than the exception. Must be some reputable labs out there doing high-quality chemistry.

I haven't even done a full hit of the white sheet yet. When I first got it, I cut off a teeny sliver (less than 1/4 hit) just to be sure it was real. I tripped pretty good for 6 hours and I was still feeling some effects 12 hours later.
That is some potent stuff!
 
Yeah tabs with the flakes are fire 🔥 or if you run into Cheshire cat blotter or any Alice blotter I'd say. And yes just like the other poster, white blotters were solid too. But these gels man they on a different level for me sometimes I wonder if it is something different? Like nhobe or whatever and these other lsd analouges.

I know it precisely how you stated. They claimed it was ALD because ALD was not explicitly illegal like LSD. I believe it was determined that they would have had to have made LSD first and then convert it to ALD and so we’re found guilty despite that defense.
I’ve called ALD orange sunshine since reading that story despite it actually being LSD.
ALD (1A-LSD) is a pro drug for LSD so they should be very similar if not exactly the same. In my expertise ALD is basically the cleanest acid I’ve ever taken.

i thought ald-52 was less stimulating than 1p-lsd or eth-lad... my friend says it's the downer of lsd analogues. i'm not sure if it's accurate, but i get it compared to something like the more stimulating ones.. he's tried it a few times... i got ald-52 on the net a bunch... it was really good stuff.
 
From what I've read and through my own experiences, acid is definitely better than it has been in many years, a very long time.

The tabs these days are definitely better than tabs from ~2005-2015. At least with my experiences.

The only times I've had "dirty acid" was back then, probably from iso-LSD impurities... got the job done, but always had way too much of a body load to be good LSD. Good LSD feels so fuckin clean that you wonder how your mind can be so radically altered, yet your body feels relatively normal and clean. That's good LSD-25. Dirty acid always had a body load similar to mushrooms, which I always disliked.
