Is 5 HTP Dangerous?

5-HTP is a precursor to serotonin.. it doesn't cause your brain to release any more than it normally would..

What about someone on zero drugs that gets the eye twitches?

Tired? Stressed? Is that eye irritated? They all cause this as well as serotonin overload.

Serotonin overload is not caused by any natural process in the body, only by drugs.

In his cause I said that because that was really almost a guarantee that he was overloaded with serotonin. Amphetamines release serotonin, weed augments serotonin, and he took 5-htp.

I think it had to be stress or anxiety. Cause my eye used to twitch for no reason when I was on no meds whatsoever. There was no irritation to the eye.. just weird twitching. It used to drive me nuts. It doesn't happen to me anymore though or atleast not alot.
