is 2ct7 adictive?

i cant seem to stop thinking about it... trying to get some more, find some more, buy some more and take some more, than i take it and freak out!!! its probably not addictive its probly my personality but i cant shake this shit outta my mind i always want it but its getting harder 4 me to find... curse these crazy hazey mazey lazy daizy daze
 
I don't find psychedelics addictive at all, you probably just had an unusually fantastic experience that you want to recreate. There's no dopamine release involved so in theory there should be no compulsion attached to the experience.

I tend to think about tripping a lot more in the week or so after I do it each time. It's pretty normal imo. Keep that shit on the DL though, not the best idea to be tripping more than once in a while imo
 
that's interesting.. but couldn't it happen to you with other psychedelics?

A friend of mine is always asking me for a dose of 2cd when we go out since i introduced it to him about two weeks ago. But it's similar with acid, if it's available he'll keep using. I never asked him if he actually has any craving for psychedelics though..
 
I know from reading previous posts of yours that you have some experience with "classical" psyches in general but maybe not so much with 2Cs and the like so am slightly surprised you have only noticed this effect with 2C-T-7 and not 2C-I which I seem to recall you being keen on a while back. Perhaps the novelty factor may play a part? Often does with me when I lay hands on some new plaything that I really enjoy as you clearly do in this situation.

I've certainly binged on various 2Cs (other than 2C-E which it just doesn't seem to suit for me) in a way I don't do with other psyches. Ever. I would definitely call it binging rather than addiction though - I don't believe a true psyche addiction is possible... Then again, although I've yet to sample that particular one, 2C's are mostly pretty euphoric and recreational so, perhaps, more prone to "addictive" behaviour patterns. Although compulsive (ab)use is just not feasible in the long term. At least not of any one psyche - tolerance makes it kinda impossible, in my experience. Even if you try really hard :D

I know you're in the UK and I also know how relatively hard to come by 2C-T-7 is here. Especially as your post sounds like you're scoring it "on the street" (or from friends or whatever) which does make me wonder slightly if it is definitely 2C-T-7 cos the only time it's been fairly widely available was very briefly earlier in the year. And whether that was the real deal or "something else" seemed to be debatable...

Just idle curiosity though - presume you're sure what it is but I just can't see any psyche being described as addictive. I binge like crazy on 2Cs sometimes but that's just my deep-rooted drugpiggery rather than addiction. Maybe it's something similar with you and others who (like me) also abuse the shit out of 2Cs sometimes... but not other psyches. Hedonism is fun and 2Cs are pretty damn hedonistic for the most part. But not addictive in the true sense of the word.
 
2C-T-7 can certainly draw you in. IDK how the psychological 'addiction' is when one doesn't have a large stash of this drug, but when I had 0.7g I went through it in about 3 weeks.
 
certainly not an addiction... i, for example, really like cheese. I have high cholesterol, and know i shouldn't eat it that often, and when i don't it doesn't bother me, however, when I eat some cheese, i remember how much i like it and will put it on most everything for a few days or a week, then i'll think about my health and ween myself off the cheese, only to repeat the cycle a month or two later...

Addictive seems to mean different things to different people, perhaps. To me, if I can stop doing something without suffering the torments of hell (at best) or dropping dead (often would be preferable) it's not truly addictive. I would describe the examples you give as compulsions rather than addictions. Although that may not be the true medical definition, I'm sure.

it was like being a kid in a sweet shop kinda reminded me of those sherbert filled spaceships i used to buy from the pick n mix. when i first tried it i did way 2 much an i loved it so bad that its been on my mind ever sinse. 2ct7 in my opinion is much better than 2ci and 2cb. it just gave me a really clean happy trip but it was also my 1st time trippin on anything thats not acid or shrooms or pills n k mixed up. i have a crazy multicoloured mind even when i havnt been tripping so when i do everything goes super crazy on my stiky ass

it was defiantely the real deal i think. addictive is defiantely the wrong word intensly intersting leading to a softcore obession is slightly more like it... its a love hate thing anyway with me... i think i trip out 2 much because i get a lot of bad trips 2 and trippy dreams that seem real but none of it is all that bad. iv taken up rock climbing to keep my my off those naughty substances and i can still get high from climbing. thanks 4 the advise n shit
