Has anyone heard of paramagnetic Iodine ?

I have been looking into ways to combat fatigue, and found a website selling a different form of Iodine that has no charge, positive or negative. It is paramagnetic.

Anyone heard about it?

Also, anyone have any experience with taking Iodine supplements for chronic fatigue?

Iodine is needed for every cell in your body. It is an essential nutrient, but even more importantly, it removes bad halogens (bromide, fluoride) from your body. Getting the bad halogens out is just as important as having enough iodine. Bromide is toxic, and it's everywhere, in pesticides (be careful about eating anything that isn't organic, especially berries), pollution, fire retardant stuff in mattresses and carpets, etc etc. Most places in america fluoridate their water (unbelievable crime against humanity). You need iodine to help protect you as well as to make your body function normally. The idea that there is enough iodine in salt or a regular american diet is a total myth.

I began iodine therapy a few years ago and it has changed my life immensely. I wouldn't be the person I am today, and possibly not even be alive, without it. I had severe halogen poisoning from a lifetime of fluoridated water and bad foods. You wouldn't even believe the difference in my health now. I am like a totally new person.

I have just begun taking Iodine 5% at 12mg per day. I agree with what notdeja says about iodine, she is the one who introduced me to it.

My most potent reaction to the iodine so far has been ENERGY and ALERTNESS. I suffer from fatigue due to thyroid issues and have had more energy since i have started taking iodine than I have in a long time.

I'm trying to think of everything it has fixed for me.

1)removal of stored toxic bromines in my system (also fluoride, but more bromide as it's easier to remove)
2)the ability for my body to regulate it's own temperature (before I was always shivering at 70 degrees)
3) dramatic increase in energy and alertness
4) massive amounts of what I can only think of as spiritual growth, which I'm sure happens in life no matter what but definitely increases when you are feeling alert and buzzing with energy
5)an increase in extra sensory abilities (I had them to begin with, but same as what I said above, when you are healthy and buzzing with life, things align better for you and your "sight" increases)
6) drugs, such as caffeine and marijuana effect me more and with greater intensity
7) I wake up feeling rested in the morning. This is a big one. I used to wake up really groggy and stumble around until I could locate caffeine. Now I wake up and I'm AWAKE. Just like that. It isn't hard.
8) My stamina at the gym has doubled.
9) Vivid, more lucid dreaming.
10) Other detox protocols that I do, such as parasite cleansing seem to be boosted by the iodine in my system.
11) For the most part (other than when I am actively doing work to detox and am suffering from detox symptoms) my cycles are much more regular and with less cramping.

Those are just a few I can think of off the top of my head. I started iodine back in 2007 and have used it off and on since then. I have taken anywhere from 6 mgs to 100mgs, all with very good results, just different levels of detox.

Note- I don't recommend anyone just getting iodine and taking it without knowing what they are doing. I think it's important to read a lot about it before you start. I researched this for a year before I decided it was right for me. There is a lot to it. Other important nutrients to consider, and things to understand about what you will be doing and what your body will be going through.

What are the other important nutrients I need to be concerned with when using Iodine??

I started using iodine just a few days ago, and I am also using magnesium.

you need to take some selenium each day.... like 200 or 100 mg. And if you have any negative effects you can try drinking some salt water. Check out Curezone.com for tons of info on iodine supplementation.

I've never heard of any health benefits from taking iodine supplements. Most table salt has iodine in it already unless it's something like sea salt.

Table salt, if iodized at all, has an extremely small amount of iodide (ioDIDE, not iodine-different forms). In the micrograms. It's nowhere near enough to counter the load of bad halogens that most people have in their bodies.

12mg?

I just realized that the idodine I have is 400mcg per drop, and i've been taking about 6 drops per day...

so that means i've only been taking 2.4 mg per day. wow that is a lot less than i thought, i figured i was taking a lot already

so should i start taking up to 12 mg per day as you did??

Ya, before I ordered the iodine i have i was pouring a little pile of salt into my palm and chasing it down with some water. I figured I was getting enough iodine by doing that, 8)

I realized after a few weeks of that that it wasn't helping at all

How has your body been reacting to the 2.4 mg's? If you FEEL in your gut or that little voice in your mind tells you to take more I would absolutely take more. I started with 6mg's and the next day something inside me was like "take 2" and i listened and I have been feeling wonderful. The only signs of detox for me have been sleeplessness and a slight metallic taste in the back of my mouth. Other than that my energy level has been WONDERFUL and my dreams more vivid and my dream recall is better.

RE Salt and Iodine: I have been a salty foods craver my entire life, but was very iodine deficient. If you read your table salt label it will either say contains IODIDE or DOES NOT CONTAIN IODINE A NECESSARY NUTRIENT. The SEA SALT that i have been using contains NO Iodide.

Also, you can take more than 12mg's if it feels good for you. Some people go as high as a gram (DONT DO THAT) and some people stay at like 25-50mg's as their daily dose. Also you may want to skip one day a week. Just to give your body rebound time and time to chill from detoxing fluoride etc.

This is a link to a radio show where the host is interviewing a doctor who specializes in thyroid conditions and he spends a great deal of time discussing the importance of iodine and why we need it. Much of the conversation is scientific talk, a bit of it is a little boring but it is well worth the listen. (its many segments long Im still listening and its been about 45mins)

My boyfriend who is a BL'r has been listening to it with me and decided that he would start taking iodine tomorrow with me <3 Ive been trying to talk him into it for a while but this program did it for him. YEAH for healthy thyroids!
