Intuition: your stories and theories

It was only the other day that I was talking about this cause I get de ja vu really badly. Like almost everyday I get some sort of de ja vu, most of the time I can manage to dismiss it, but there are sometimes where it's just too strong to ignore, like there was one time when I was 12 in a country pub in South Aus (Tailem Bend for anyone who knows the area ;) ), and all of a sudden I just got this weird feeling that I had been there before and the whole place just seemed so familiar, but of course as far as I knew I had never stepped foot inside that pub in my life previous to that experience.
Sometimes when I meet people I get a weird feeling too, like I don't want to be around with them at all, and it doesn't matter how hard I try to push it away nothing will make it go, but luckily that doesn't happen very often. My instincts about something or someone are usually correct.

With regard to developing intuition by using certain drugs (ie LSD, MDMA), if used in moderation, these drugs can be quite invaluable by opening "doors" in your mind that may not have been accessible otherwise. On the flipside though, abusing these drugs and others like meth, etc can have the opposite effect. If you are going too hard or having "benders" (staying awake for long periods of time) your intuition and "better judgement" is most certainly clouded. Your perception of reality can be warped, and coupled with the possiblity of things like psychosis due to sleep dep and meth use...what you may perceive as a "gut" feeling, could very well be a paranoid thought, etc.
I hope that made sense, i just woke up, haven't had a cuppa yet, and i wanted to reply to this before i went to see my grandad :D
Have a great weekend!

wiccans wiccans everywhere! this is sooo great! anyhoo, i also feel that my powers of perception have increased since using. i think it might just help our brains to tune into some new frequency that otherwise would not be possible. the music surrounding me can also influence my perception. i have actually gone into trance-like states a couple of times at clubs & raves when the beat of the music slows down to a certain speed (think the start of Scott Project's 'O'-that low, bassy thump thats running just a little bit slower than most of the music). the first time this happened it was for quite some time & i became enveloped in, well, nothingness (for lack of a better word). absolutely nothing existed; time, space, my surroundings, even myself as i knew it everything was black. not that it wasnt cool! very peaceful, sorta zen like or something. but i digress!

i certainly think my powers of perception have increased greatly with my occasional use of drugs. it changes the functioning of our brains and so i think it can help us to tune into some different frequency or something that otherwise would not be possible. music can help too. ive entered trance like states a couple of times when the music slows down to a certain speed (think the start of Scott Project's 'O'-that low, bassy beat that a bit slower than the rest).
the first time this happened it was for quite some time and i was just enveloped by nothingness (for lack of a better word). nothing existed; not time, space, my surroundings or even myself as i knew it. just blackness. it kinda startled me when i realise what had happened because i hadnt meant to do it. not to say that it wasnt cool! very peaceful, zen like. but i digress!
there have been many times that i have felt the presence of entities while being off my own. in fact most of the times that i have been to sublime ive felt at least one of them. theres a paticular spot on the floor that it comes to me. most of the time its pleasant and cheerful but sometimes can be a bit smothering & claustrophobic.
the first time these came to me i was on the voodoo dancefloor and i shit you not i felt somehing around my wrist dragging me towards the front door. now so far, my psychic ability has been limited to seeing things with my mids eye, rather than 'seeing ghosts' or whatever, and suddenly i got this very vivid picture of a 20 something guy with brown hair & a blue shirt. at the same time it was telling me 'get out of here, its too much for you, you need to chill. it spooked me, cause it kept pulling, so i decided to move to a different spot.
once i did, i got a very clear mental picture of a freckly blonde girl in pigtails wearing pink who gave me a hug & reassured me that i was okay over here. so i felt better & merrily continued about my evening. after visiting the club a few more times she would come to me more often & for longer periods, eventually telling me her name was nicole & the boy who tried to pull me away, his name was samuel, & aggreed that he wasnt very pleasant. sounds like a lot of bs i know, unless you believe in this sorta stuff.
so anyway i got to talking with one of my friends once, who happens to be an incredibly powerful psychic (she sees dead people!) and she said she had a conversation with a similar lookin guy, just your average 'hows yer night goin' chit chat, and, well, he wasnt actually there. subsequently she had a vision of people dancing all around her & feeling 'i'm fading away & nobody notices'. which i think we can all see is entirely possible. people are in their own world a lot of the time.
anyway, just thought i might ask if anyone else has had similar experiences while being in a club or rave or anything. seeing people that arent really there & such.
ok end ramble here :)
oh! ps! so glad to hear you're ok Dante!
