I've been using this site for research and entertainment for a long while. I finally figured out how to make my phone work with this site so decided I'd participate a bit.

Thank you to everyone here for the vast amount of information available on this site, it has definitely saved my ass a few times as far as harm reduction is concerned.

I'm an opiate addict. If you're still reading, I reckon I'll throw some background info here. I've been using pot alcohol and pain pills since 2002, and got heavily into opiates in 2006 when I broke my baxk. I'm now a somewhat functional addict. I never finished school so I work the oil rigs in southeast new mexico and west texas. Ive never left my hometown, I settled down and got married young and started makin lots of babies. Despite being an addict I take great care of my family and stay out of trouble(these days-i went up for a couple years while I was much younger and naive, but learned a good lesson as to what I can and cant get away with). Well my fingers hurt so I'll give it a rest now.

Update-just got done kicking in county jail for 4 days. First time ive been in since I had kids. Huge wakeup call. The wds were nothing compared to the pain of being separated from my family. Im clean and feel great. Im staying this way. Every time I need endorphins I just work out HARD. And when im really desperate I punch myself in the face lol. For those who are skeptics like I was, it really does work(the workout, I don't suggest beating urself up unless ur real fuckin loc). Wish me luck on continuing to keep myself in check guys

Edit-3 days not 4. Felt like 3 years

hi there i am also a opiate addict years ago i was into the hard stuff but i quit it when i found out i was pregnant with my daughter. Since then i had really bad problems with my wisdom teeth and resorted back to opiates but otc codiene rather than the hard stuff.
