Ok, It's really simple. But sometimes when I IV coke, never to large of amounts. 5-10 dollars worth (yes we have 5 and 10 bags of coke strictly for the IV users) But on occasion I get a small dull pain in the center of my chest that lasts a second or so then goes away and I might notive it 1 or two more times until I load up my next shot. Lots of people tell me me its common. I'm just curious if this is normal for me to feel like this

I don't think I've ever had a "dull pain" like that. But, I have felt like my heart was about to explode(and felt pain around my heart). :\ One of the many reasons I stopped fucking with that stuff.

That is exactly what happened to my friend. He was doing the same amount occasionally and started getting this small dull pain, and thought it was just some muscle spasm and nothing serious... same amount too, 5dollars worth each shot..

Then one day when he wasnt even on any drugs at all he was just eating lunch at work and just BAM had a stroke, it has been 6 months and hes still recovering, GOTO THE EMERGANCY ROOM RIGHT NOW! YOU NEED TO GET CHECKED OUT IM SERIOUS!

Please give us more information about your plans so we know your OK.

Good luck, your in my prayers.

I always thought that a stroke come from your brain and isnt directly felt in the chest like a heart attack. i have had similar pains in my chest from shooting coke. its usually more of a tight feeling then a dull pain. or it could even be from something the coke is cut with. isnt a lot of coke cut with that heart medication for hypertension? i forget what its called.

I'm with phrozen, had my ears ringing and my head feels like its going to explode but not chest pain

ok, well, here's another question,, my head sometimes feels kind of numb while shooting coke. And I sometimes get very slight head achs. and of these things sound firnikkiar. As far as the chest pain, its usually dead center and onlu lasts for about 2 seconds and I might otice then for like 15 minteswevery 5 mins or so then they stop. But the head going feeling numb is kinda weird, its mostly only one side at a time....

Thanks in advance
~Brian

thanks in advance

Kapheen you feel numb because cocaine is in your bloodstream & surging through it, the rest i cant say for sure. Your welcome *back in time*

Basically all I'm trying to find out is if there things that are happening and since they are not very severe is it common and should I be worried about anything??

The chest pain is not normal. This doesn't mean it is serious but it could be, especially if it comes up each and every time you shoot. Difficult to know what happens though, any doc will simply tell you to stop shooting coke.

Yeah, I always thought a stroke was when your brain isn't getting oxygen. Some shit like that. Yeah, I'm too lazy right now to go on Google. :|

Edit: I was wrong. Here's what I got from double-clicking stroke.
6. A sudden loss of brain function caused by a blockage or rupture of a blood vessel to the brain, characterized by loss of muscular control, diminution or loss of sensation or consciousness, dizziness, slurred speech, or other symptoms that vary with the extent and severity of the damage to the brain. Also called cerebral accident, cerebrovascular accident.

You beat me to it phrozen. My sister had a stroke when she was 16, not drug related, she was perfectly healthy, it was just a weak blood vessel in her brain and POP! very close to dying and she hasnt been the same since, shes 26 now so it was 10 years ago, I was like 8 yrs old and it was one of the most fucked up days of my life and the week following, not knowing whether she was going to live or die was fucked up too.

Alot of chest pains I get from drugs are often anxiety related. Ive often wondered when IV'ing meth or methylphenidate if im having a stroke or a heart attack because of dull/sharp pains in my chest or head but they never last long and arent usually that painful. Ive always been told in regards to having a stroke, if you have the worst headache youve EVER had and its excrusciating then go straight to the ER because its quite possible your having a stroke. In regards to a heart atack, if you have sharp chest pains for more than 10 minutes full on then go to the ER or call the ambo.

Most times when things like these are drug related you either just die, like instant death or you have a bit of a warning and you just call the ambo asap and hopefully whatever is happening can be treated. Nearly all cases of people thinking theyre having a heart attack or stroke have been panic attacks, but if your in a huge amount of pain the go immediately.

I've never had chest pain; just a tightness from long sessions with fat shots. I have felt the numb brain on more than a few occaisions, though.

If you have insurance, you might go to your physician or the ER and complain of chest pains when you are straight and not mention the IV coke. They may perform an EKG or echocardiogram which could alert you to any potential problems.

Cocaine is cardiotoxic, so if you are having these symptoms regularly, they are not likely to go away; just get worse.

Be safe.

Just out of curiosity, what is a decent starting dose for an I.V.-coke virgin?

My sweet spot for regular snorted coke is a gram spread over a night (but a half-gram over an evening also makes me happy).

I'm aware of the inherent risks attached to injecting coke so please no lectures just some assistance. Apologies for hijacking the thread.

Kapheen I hope you find the answer you're looking for and it turns out to be nothing serious...... I think the advice to have your heart checked out while you're straight sounds like your best move under the circumstances.

For starters if you have only snorted I´d do a 1/3 -1/2 of what you do in a line.

I have a nice 80units shot waiting for me at the fridge, but I´m gonna wait till I come back and the morphine kicks in to blast the shit, about it numbing you yes it numbs the zone, but it should subside, unless you missed the shoit, always make sure after you shot to re-register, though if it´s a decent shot you won´t be able and will be blasting off...fuck now I wanna shoot me coke, well guess I´m gonna smoke a bowl full of crack instead. About the pain in your chest, it never happened to me but always happened to a friend of mine after a whole night session of smoking rock.

Cheers

I don't know, it's not necessarily a pain, it's more so a pinching kind of feeling but very dull. It happens a few 3-4 times usually then its gone. And it doesn't happen every time I use. Just once and awhile. I get nervous like I should just stay still and not move around and exert myself in anyway.

ohhhh yea thats right.

my professor had a stroke in class right in front of me. I was really high on morphine while it happend to. It was insane. We had to call 911. Lets just say we got a new professor after that. He ended up losing most of his ability to speak.

BIG PROBLEM!!!!

I used to get this incredible painw hen I smoked crack or shot coke to the point i had to lie down and do deep breathing. However what I noticed was that after going to the doctor it was a prolapsed valve in my left ventricle. Now all that means is a.) cut down coke and b.) be careful of infections because the last thing you need is to get a heart infection which can happen easily especially with dentist. I ahve to take antibiotics for 4 days before a teeth cleaning.

No this is NOT NORMAL. You may have pulmonary hypertension or you may be having an angina attack and what you feel may be heart muscle dying? It is possible it is nothing, but have this checked out with an EKG and an Echocardiogram before doing anymore or you may not have a chance!
