Intranasal Hydrocodone B/A?

Hey - I have pure Hycodan 5mg tabs (nothing else in them). Would these be snortable? I also get Hydromorph 2 12mg's/day that I snort.

They're water soluble so I don't see why not but the oral BA is 80%+ so it'll likely be less efficient. I suspect there's no way to know though. This RoA for this drug is used so infrequently that I doubt you'd be able to find any reliable figures for intranasal BA.

Hycodan's highest dose is 5mg which sucks but at least there is no acetaminophen or other junk in them. Just straight Hydrocodone.

After doing Intranasal Hydromorphone for awhile now. I find Hydrocodone and Oxycodone to be extremely weak. I need to get my tolerance down and just start swallowing the HydroMorphContin capsules instead. My Opiate Tolerance is insane a long with my Benzo Tolerance.

I also find Xanax (Alprazolam) to be way overrated. I wouldn't say its better than Ativan. I would say its almost worse than Ativan. But Depends on the dosage as well.

yeah you can sniff hydro but its nasal BA is crap. i know every one wants a faster rush so im sorry i cant tell you itll knock you off your feet but....it wont. any 'codone' is weaker than any 'morphone' because the codones have a methoxy group...which makes it less water soluble and forms less hydrogen bonds. and any 'hydros' are weaker than 'oxys' because oxys have a hydroxy group which IS more water soluble and forms stronger hydrogen bonds. so...hydrocodone is pretty much the weakest nasal opiate other than codeine. just eat them. BA is like 80% oral and feels just as good. also...your body converts hydrocodone into hydromorphone through metabolism so if you have no APAP and you take a significant amount...youll get a better buzz off eating them cuz those metabolic enzymes are in your blood and digestive system. nomnom

It's better to just take hydrocodone orally as it has a very high oral BA, higher than intranasal that's for sure.
