Intranasal administration of vitamins for healing?

So I'm lying awake last night before sleep, thinking about how people get holes in their noses from various substances they ingest through their nose.

Then I think about Vitamins A and E. There have been many times I have used these topically, i'll break open a capsule and rub it on the wound, it will heal fast with no scarring. This has been my experience with it.

Searching around online I see that some people disagree with this, they say it enhances the appearance of scars, but I've had some good luck with it myself. Every time I've used it, I heal fast without noticeable scarring. Regardless of the question of scarring, the fact is that these vitamins really seem to speed up the healing process quite a bit. Which brings me to my next thought...

What about intranasal usage of these vitamins for topical application to damaged tissues to help the tissue heal fast after drug use? Now I'm no expert, but it does seem that this could be a useful idea.

Your thoughts?

might be wiser, and to a certain extent, simpler, to quit putting stuffs up your nose.

Agreed. To be clear, I'm actually not a recreational drug user but the idea came to me because I'm using Benzedrex to help with hay fever (this first tube is the only one I have used in my life). That said, there are many people who do use drugs intranasally on a common basis, and so the idea was that perhaps a vapor of E and A and perhaps other things could help them. Not as a cure all, but to at least help. Not as a restorative solution, mind you, but more as a preventative measure. Not to excuse an unhealthy practice but to deal with the reality of the situation. That would be some of the premise of this website if I am not mistaken?

With all that said I am not aware of the complexities of the issue, so I thought it good to post here since many visit here who are quite familiar.

I suggest you take a look at the mechanism of action of vitamin A & E... the inside of your nose isn't really "skin", and may respond very differently.

It appears others are having the same, or similar idea...

Although I take them too, vitamins are--according to the currently accepted scientific consensus--vastly overrated unless you have a known vitamin deficiency. And beta-carotene, vitamin E (unless it's mixed tocopherols and not only d- or dl-alphatocopherol which almost all vitamins in the store are), selenium, and vitamin A have been found to be actually harmful. High levels of iron are found in the brains of Alzeiheimer's and Parkinson's patients, though a causal relationship may not exist there. Finally, to answer your question, I see absolutely no reason to take vitamins A or E intranasally.
