Intervention deaths: Intervention the TV show.

Reality television is all about the spectacle of humiliation. I've seen very very little of it, not having owned a tv for going on 12 years, I've seen small fragments of this show particular online.

Admittedly, because I've seen so little of it, my opinion might be worth nothing.

But anyway, it seems about as counterproductive a way to fight one's a addictive demons - "oh, look it's that crack guy..." Or "I'm the addict guy on that TV show and it's my claim to fame....

But it's not surprising, is it? Sad but not surprising.
And so many fuckers made money off these people's suffering, not to mention deaths.

I guess drug educational isnt as profitable for the networks as portraying pain and misery. Nice.

You hit the nail on the head spacejunk. It's no different than Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew or whatever the fuck that other show was called. Does credit to a pretty horrible form of so called treatment to begin with... So imho it's almost to be expected in these cases.

That woman who inhaled the computer cleaning duster got sober, and works at a drug rehab/detox place according to her twitter.

The tweaker stripper is in very bad shape, and according to her facebook page she did use meth and booze while pregnant. 8o
