Tarwa N-Tiniri - Ansuf [2019]

Tarwa N-Tiniri are a five-piece desert blues band from Ouarzazate in Morocco. The all-Berber band was formed in 2012. They released the albums Azizdeg (2019) and Akal (2024). The band’s name means "sons of the desert." They always have the Amazigh heritage and culture in the centre of their lives, since they are part of nomadic families.

Daiqing Tana, an ethnic Mongol singer-songwriter from Qinghai, China, sings this piece of music from Mongolia.

"Stella Splendens" is an anonymous polyphonic song written in 1399. It is one of the oldest surviving pieces of medieval music still performed today, originally created as a devotional song and dance for pilgrims to sing while they were waiting and resting at the Monastery of Montserrat.​
 

Omar Faruk Tekbilek - Dulger [2000]​



Omar Faruk Tekbilek is a Turkish musician and composer who plays a wide range of wind, string, percussion, and electronic instruments. He has developed a style that builds on traditional Sufi music while incorporating inspiration from ambient electronic musicians, most notably Brian Keane.
