Intermittent Fasting

Unless you are naturally predisposed to holding onto to excessive adipose tissue the T4 your taking should help compensate for the missing member. I would recommend keeping up on your B12 and chromium as well for the added boost to the metabolic fire.

Good point! It's just been difficult keeping it balanced. I'm getting there though… I do take b 12, although I wasn't aware of the chromium factor. I'll pick some up! :)

In what form is your B12? I never really noticed how beneficial chromium was to overall energy levels until I did a little research and realized it was seemingly impossible to get your DRV of chromium from natural foods. At least difficult in my eyes considering my pickiness with food choices.

I've heard the little pills aren't the best route for absorption - if that's what you are referring to. They are synthetic, not gels or liquids.
Also, yes - I don't eat a bit of the foods listed with chromium, nor read meat. Especially today - so much of what we put into our bodies isn't as healthy as it could be. I just picked some chromium on sale tonight, going to try in the morning. :)

Its the cyanide molecule they use to help it pass through the first part of digestion: stomach acid however it is also the cheapest form and is generally rendered inactive within the body. I used to use sub-lingual methylcobalamin, but have since converted to hydroxocobalamin via I.M. B12 is fantastic. You can definitely tell its working when you administer your dose and within an hour you notice your temperature jump and a slight sweat session is in progress.

I'm about to head into work, but I'll find the study that advocated using multiple B vitamins associated with the spectrum as they helped facilitate each others absorption and helped negate the possibility of malabsportion. It could just be my personal reaction to B12 that makes me feel an increase in body temperature or could be attributed to the way I structure my dosing. I usually do mega dosing of B12 with conjunction to my B5 mega dosing and my sub-lingual intake of B complex. I never go above 5000 mg/wk for b12 and even that is on the high end. My B5 consumption is subjective to how my skin is because it helps with acne, but usually 2000mg-4000mg/wk. The B Complex is just whatever it says on the packaging.

Be prepared to to pound back food after you get a solid couple weeks of consistent dosing.
