This is interesting and maybe somebody can explain...long ago purchased several of the MDMA test strip kits when decided long ago to try the RC Methylone. Did my usual small bumps and onto the club with the friends and fun. Came back feeling wonderful ripped open the tiny package - off to the bathroom and relived myself along with loads of Cranberry Vodka and JD/Coca Colas . 5 mins later strips always come up one stripe and that means Positive MDMA. Well seems rolling on M-CAT with certain absolutely Lab cups comes up always amphetamine and Methamphetamine but not mdma. Very interesting or are the molecules so identical that gives off for it's counter parts? Plus I've done Meth and plenty of Adderall they absolutely"" DO NOT"" make you Euphoric or talkative or wanting to listen to your favorite music all night( Just gives you massive rush for hours or days). Plus all the after effects are wonderful with RCs. This is complex but also as I've stated before 4 MEC seemed to be perfect in it's actions. 4 mmc is very similar and interesting both molecular structures are very similar for on both?

While I have no idea why, a similar situation happened to me last year. I hadn't touched MDMA for years. But I smoke methamphetamine often.

I was shocked too see a positive response for methamphetamine AND MDMA.

Thank you and when I did the 12 Panel cup all three went positive the next morning AMP ,MDMA ;AND MAMP so guess what ever metabolites in the Urine do the chemical change on those strips in the cup? But I can tell you long ago did good roll on Butylone and took a job screen day after thinking well not going to get hired. LOL to my surprise it never popped. Butylone is so similar to Methylone and very strong stimulant but lousy empathogen or enactogen.

I enjoyed butylone back in the day. I always wondered if MBDB was comparable. It was sort of like bk-MDMA but appreciably different.

I'm not surprised that 4-MMC comes up positive for methamphetamine. It's a ring substituted beta keto derivative. It's closer to meth in structure than to mdma, but not in effects. As I'm probably sure you're aware. The 4 sub makes it much more serotonergic and the beta keto prevents it from being a strong acting maoi.
