I am currently taking ziprazadone, escitaprolam and trazadone as neccesary, ad I'm noticing an unusual effect concering DXM. I still receive the euphoria and sense of well being from it, I, just, the dissociation seems to be a non issue when I take DXM under those medications. I was wondering if any of you guys could extrapolate a solution to why i get half the effects, but not the other half, you know what i'm saying?

and for those who aren't walking PDR's, Gedon, Lexapro fir ziprazodone and escitaprolam.

just off the top of my head as a general answer one or more of those drugs is antagonizing that pathway(s) that produces that component of its effect it appears

perhaps ZIPRA via NMDA or TRAZ as a 5-HT2 receptor antagonist

also can maybe be via liver enzyme competition i guess

I would look toward enzyme inhibition - DXM's metabolism to DXO may be affected by these meds.

Ziprazadone is DA antagonist, and escitalopram is a high affinity 5-HT reuptake inhibitor. This would explain diminished effects from DXM, but not the subjective lack of NMDA antagonism. Enzyme inhibition would be a good avenue to check out, but I don't have the information yet.
I've noticed that about 6 months after I turned 22 DXM stopped having any effect on me. I've racked my brain and tried temporarily eliminating medications from my system that might mess with the DXM-DXO conversion, but nothing has worked.

during the process of dxm extraction i believe it's converted into dxo. you could consume it as pure dxo so your liver doesn't have to convert it. from what i understand it's much more intense that way. i'd like to try it maybe.
