Opioids Interactions between Oxy and Symbicort?

Is there any detractors taking a recreational dose of Oxy with a dual acting asthma inhaler such as Symbicort? Doctor said both together where safe since I take Oxy for pain relief, but I didn't know if there's any "adverse" side effects such as the Symbicort steroids making the oxy less effective or less of a high when taken together. Figured there's gotta be some asthma patients in here who knew the answer

(I don't actually have asthma, but had whooping cough, and the doc just prescribed the Symbicort inhaler to deal with the remnant tight chest from all the coughing I had for the first 2.5 months of the illness.....btw, don't get whooping cough. It SUCKS)
