insufflation - binders in certain pills cause "film" to develop on heart and brain?

As the title reads, Im wondering if theirs any truth to this. I read on a blog that a certain individual that was snorting percocets claimed that "binders and filllers in pills go to the brain and develop a film in the heart". This is pretty much verbatim but Ive never heard this before and Im wondering if any bluelighters can chime in on this. If this is true what complications await those who are abusing pills this way and for non -regular abusers does this pose a threat or does the body find ways to rid itself of this stuff.

PS Id imagine insufflation could cause the stuff to settle in the lungs but the brain and heart?

the insoluble pill fillers aren't absorbed into the blood, if anything the fillers end up in your stomach and in your mucus.

^Thanks sekio , so theres probably no truth to this? Im wondering if the individual that claims this to be the case was referring to a particular filler in their DOC, which happened to be percocets. Perhaps a particular brand as Im sure fillers vary from brand to brand.

The only reason I had any suspicions about this , is that I read here on BL about a guy who was shooting his pills without micron filtering them and members where telling him to get his lungs checked as the fillers will settle there and cause emphysema and other illnesses...I guess that's because it goes directly in to the blood stream though, eh?

Indeed. The only time you need to be concerned about pill fillers is generally when you're bypassing your body's defences for keeping dust and particles out of your blood :)

Consider that if you needed to worry about pill fillers forming a film on your braaaains when snorted, you would also then have to be concerned about atmospheric dust and the like.

The fillers in most pills are not very harmful or toxic in the amounts that they are present in a pill anyway. Most of the time in IR pills it's essentially chalk (bulking agents) and a chemically modified cellulose (which expands when moist, to make it fall apart in water).
