everyday's an endless dream of cigarettes and maga
Hey there! Do any of you have any suggestions for (preferably herbal) solutions to chronic sleeplessness? I also have a terrible restless leg syndrome-esq twitch which is worsened by laying down... needless to say I can't get a moment of relaxation! Pot makes me anxious, melatonin doesn't work... ? I'm so tired guys. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

I've gone through some periods of really bad insomnia too (i.e. can't sleep for more than 3 hrs at at time). I tried the two most common OTC medications here in the US (diphenhydramine/benadryl and doxylamine) but found that when they did put me to sleep, I didn't wake up the next day feeling rested. The best OTC/herbal solution I found was valerian root. Though if it's a serious medical condition, you may want to talk to a doctor about other drugs/solutions. I know clonidine and guanfacine are two sleep medications used here in the US that can help with various tics. A benzo like clonazepam (klonopin) or diazepam (valium) might help as well.

Look up the "Insomniacs Handbook".....other than tht I would suggest getting a script for Immovane (zopiclone)

Hpoe this helps! :)

How much did you take, and for how long? For my dad it took a week for it to finally start working its magic. I don't think he took it for more than two months, and he hasn't need any since then. I take it every night; around 1 mg is all it takes to make me sleepy and get a good night's rest.

Also look into getting some red lights for your bedroom, as the color red will help you become drowsy (blue lights do the opposite).
