Ok. I'm convinced i have honest-to-god insomnia. It can't be attributed to regular drug use because i haven't been doing anything (summer sucks - this area's boring as shit). Simply stated, i have immense trouble falling asleep at night. And even when i do get to sleep, i don't sleep that well at all.
What i'm asking is, what are my options? I've read all about hypnotic sedatives and i've also read that these are mainly prescribed as a short term solution.
So let's say i visit my gp and tell him all about my problem. What are the chances he'll give me a sleep aid right off the bat? Also, assuming i get them and they work, how can i procure them for the long term? Lastly, is there anything in particular i should say (or not say) to him? Cuz i really don't want to walk out of there with a script for paxil or some other worthless dog shit like that. Thanks in advance.
