insane etizolam tolerance?

I have a very strong tolerance to etizolam. It seems like 8mg barely does a thing for me. I don't have a tolerance to benzos and have only used benzos maybe on 4 occasions in my entire life before trying etiz. I don't think I'm really resistant to benzos, because a while back, I took 5mg of lorazepam and totally blacked out. Also, a combination of 1mg alprazolam and 5mf of diazepam had me buzzing really nice. So it really is strange.
I have tried 2 brands of 1mg etizolam pills as well as a propylene glycol suspension of it and all of the etizolam was legit and I'm sure the potency is on par because the pills were made by legit pharm companies in India.
I don't understand why 5mg of etiz makes alot of people even black out but 10mg barely gives me a buzz.
Anyone have any idea what the hell is going on?
 
Also, I'm not a big guy. At 5'9" and 170 lbs, I don't think my weight should play much of a role as in why this happens.

It used to be the same for me. One Benzo would work wonders and another would seem to do nothing even at comparative doses.

Btw I'm not trying to preach but if your using Benzos recreationally my advice would be to stop now. I didn't take this advice and 4 and 1/2 years later I find everyday life extremely difficult.

Don't be like me, I ended up taking at least 100mg in one fucking day and woke up in a psych ward....all I remember from that eek was being extremely dizzy an I dcided I wasn't high enugh so I mixed it with beer....the paramedics said I shat myself and hrew up and was bleeding from the mouth...the pshychiatrist from the psych ward said I thratend suicide/homicide...that was way back in November ad I went to rehab for 2 months, transitional living for 2 months and am now in sober living...I think I should share my story in another thread sometime about my misfortune

Yes, I am being careful. I "prescribed myself" etizolam as a temporary crutch for my severe general and social anxiety as well as to help cope with my extreme daily stress. I use 2 to 6 mg of etiz a day to help ease all my stress and anxiety problems. I just started this regimen about 4 days ago.. . But in the evenings, I like to take a larger dose of etiz. to "unwind" as an alternative to alcohol. I know i really should just use etiz on occasion or to come down from stimulants or get some rest.. But My shrink is an absolute asshole and only offers me SSRIs for my debilitating anxiety problems, and i need to be scripted benzos because other drugs don't do shit for me. They act like they care, but i guess theyd rather you suffer than be on a benzo.. But fuck it, if he cant help me, I will help myself.
