Are you using micron filters for your pills, opiate_man?

Are you removing the tourniquet COMPLETELY? If you aren’t, you WILL bruise way easier. Also, keep pressure on the site… but not TOO much. Remember, blood still needs to flow through. If you’re injecting pills, you HAVE TO use a micron filter. *HAVE TO*.

As to the pain in your leg, just stay away from it. It doesn’t circulate well, and are you injecting in the femoral vein or ARTERY? Just stick to your arms. Surface veins. The femoral vein is still considered deep. It’s not worth the risk. That’s why you bruised.

I mean, the crook of my arm is bruised right now. But it’s fading after two days. Sometimes your capillaries can’t hold up and they burst. It’s nothing to reallllly worry about, unless it’s infected. OR you’re shooting into your artery.

Your upper arm is the best; very little nerve locations and the veins are large. Your hands… well, just don’t miss. There’s less flesh there and it’s quite a lot more painful. Also, the veins are typically a LOT smaller, so you’re going to want a very small needle. Your legs are the worst place you can inject, because the circulation simply isn’t as good. You can form clots way too easily.

And for the last three that I can think of—femoral in the groin, feet, or your neck. No, NO, and NOOOO. Your femoral vein is too close to the femoral artery. You can easily miss the vein, hit the artery, and then all sorts of problems ensue. Just look up safe injections, or… Do you have needle exchanged in Serbia?

Do you have any friends who can teach you, who KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING (<— I have to make myself VERY clear on that), proper injection sites and techniques? Please stay away from the legs, groin and feet areas. They’re not good. And again, if you’re injecting pills…. MICRON FILTER AND BACTERIOSTATIC WATER PLEASE. Your veins, and your longevity, will thank you.

Good luck, man. Stay safe, please.

This is my first post. While allowing other veins to heal I've been using the big fat vein on the under left side of my wrist. I know its improper technique, however the only. way I can.hit that fucker is to inject opposite of bloodflow . toward my hand. I inject very slow !! I can't find any information on the harm this may cause. Any tips to hit that the right way is appreciated as it isn't easy. thanks no

No. You cannot do that. You don’t how quickly the extra fluids up, especially when you’re doing it that way. Trust me, please. There ARE other spots you can use. Have you gone up your bicep? I used that for one for a days, especially since my right arm needed to heal from the meth.

You need to follow this: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/...tion-Sites?p=10919237&viewfull=1#post10919237

Go for the Cephalic (the outer bicep—upper arm) vein before the Basilic vein (the inner one). There’s also a vein on the INSIDE (not outside) of your leg… see the link above for that. If you haven’t thought to try the Basilic vein but have done the rest, go for that one. Good luck. Stay safe. And don’t inject into your wrists, ESPECIALLY not away from your heart. Inject toward the heart; the needle pointed that way. Along with the flow of blood.

A little MDPV discussion. I did a little experiment recently, since there isn’t much out there. I’m going to finish writing it today.:
NSFW:
I just recently did a little… I guess, experiment, with methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV). I used it for 16 days straight (today is my last day, my last dose will be shortly, at 1:15pm UTC). I took notes of dosages, times (not every time, however. Not even close. Which will be fully explained), and region I would IV at. I will be writing up a sort of harm reduction-centered report on the effects that MDPV had on me. Which will be updated in a week, and then a month. Something like that.

I honestly think that MDPV, if evenly dosed every time, until you’re SURE your tolerance has gone up and that dose level isn’t working any longer (if you’re taking it that far. You shouldn’t, but I can’t stop; I can only offer you help and guidance from my experience; I will also have some words to say on tolerance).

To start out, I was injecting just like meth. Once in the day, and once at night. One thing I like about MDPV is that there IS a rush. There IS a come up. With meth, I do not feel that. However, it’s so hard on your veins… and you have to inject multiple times a day. First I did it every 12 hours, then every 8, then quickly down to 6, then quickly down to 4 at which I hovered at for a while. Only in the past couple days have I been dosing every 2-4 hours, which I will also talk about. I’ve been doing a TON of research and reach a TON of information (and even asking questions here too to gather it).

I think, if used right, MDPV can be a very, very interesting drug. There’s some benefit to it too: it stimulates you, yet the stimulation is so much, that you just have to sleep, or binge more. I mix with marijuana right after I take my first shot (due to nausea brought on that lasts no longer than 1-2 minutes max) and that pretty much eliminated any “compulsive” redosing. More to come later.

(No, I haven’t dosed yet. It took me 35 minutes to write this, so it’s past the time I said I was going by 15 minutes. I feel no need or urge or compulsion to go and redose. Upon figuring out a dosing regimen, I feel pretty darn good… and even sleep).

More to come for sure.

I fig. a way to use my teeth to pull back the plunger its just a little difficult. Its the big fat vein on the left side of left arm n right of right. runs from wrist to elbow.. just damn hard to hit without assistance or teeth. what is the harm from shooting very slowly opposite bloodflow? I still get high

^shooting in the opposite direction to bloodflow can blow out ur vein. Especially small veins can't handle that much pressure.

Okay ty I knew it was wrong. I've leaned a lot from this site I just couldn't hit that fat one without going opposite.. until I used teeth. but I did always go slow as well when I did do it... thanks guys!

One more question. jus shot registered very slow after the shot pulled back an just trickles of blood came. I was concerned for a miss but there's no lump. Can you miss a shot and have no lump or am I just being paranoid? Ill be asking a lot of ?? So bare with me please. I've been in this game longer then id Luke to admit in my 29yrs, But its embarrassing how.ignorant I was to the shooting game before I found blue light! Much gratitude for everyone helping with harm.reduction ;)

Hey, we’re to help. Don’t worry about it. Ask as many questions as you may have. Better safe than sorry, right?

Okay, look at this picture. This is how you want to do it. I wouldn’t use that steep of an angle upon injection, however. Lay it flatter. It realllly awkward taking a picture without any extra hands, haha.

Holding the syringe that way, means that you can get the injection with one hand, no issue. Holding tourniquet in your mouth and (gently) tugging it off when you register, makes it even easier.

Don’t stutter when you insert the needle. You want it to go in in one smooth motion. This goes for all injections, not just at the cephalic vein. People worry about pain, blahblah, but it doesn’t hurt. You shouldn’t feel it, really. Maybe a little pinch. You need to protect your veins. You could die. I mean, I’m serious. Recreational intravenous injections are deadly. You could get a staphylococcal or streptococcal bacterial infection and a whole plethora of other nasties. But, if you’re careful and you take my advice, you clean properly, you NEVER reuse a syringe (there is excess blood inside. You can’t clean the inside of the needle that well. And it blunts after just one use… you’ll wreck your veins), and you ALWYS inject toward the heart, following the flow of blood, and NEVER into an artery, you will be fine.

Good luck and please be safe. I hope this helps.

Ty! I always use ISO.. go slowly.. accidentally hit an artery on the bottom of my forearm but didn't inject as the pain an blood color gave it away. I was just confused why it was shallow and blue? The.vein I have been having trouble with it the ulnar vein. its fat runs pinky to elbow.. rolls a bit. I've been using my teeth for registerg lol

Getting better with that. one learned a lot of harm reduction and.safer techniques apply.
how does everyone else hit that vein without using teeth or shooting opposite of bloodflow ? Any suggestions? Thanks guys <3
And I know this.is the wrong place for this question but is it just not possible to edit or make a profile while on your phone? If not we should change that ;)

You just have to get the needle in right away. The reason people miss, or the vein rolls, is because they’re not pushing the needle in fast enough. They stutter and miss because of it. You have mentally prepare yourself for it. Take a deep. Take a another. Exhale… Deep breath, then push the needle right in. Remember to go a very low angle. You it to be relatively flush with your skin. As much as can be.

You don’t want to go too fast, and you don’t want to go too slowly. Slow enough that you can control it, but fast enough that it just slides right in.

Also, hold the syringe EXACTLY like in that picture. Just lay lower when you go to inject. Is there anyone you live by who could teach you? Nurses sometimes that at needle exchanges. IVing really isn’t that hard, and you get down pat, you’ll look and laugh that you ever missed before.

Good luck.

Using a fresh syringe every time makes it 10x easier to hit. It also obviously does much less damage on your veins, making them hittable for longer.

Also, different veins require slightly different technique sometimes. You need to experiment with angles, etc, depending on if the veins are rollers, shallow, deep, whatever.

IV - Injection clogging?

Greetings people, so to get started with i'm new here as a user, I want to be honest and admit I've been lurking around here for 3-4 years.
Oh well, I finally did so instead of writing a story i'll get to the question.

First off, I've been injecting heroin, methadone(ment for IV) and methadone pills too - and cocaine for a few years now.
A thing i've been wondering for a while now is that all the impurities from the shit I've been injecting, where does it go?
Does my liver filter it so I piss it out the next few days or does it just sit there in the veins and grow bigger and bigger? That's the thing I'm fearing the most, because if it just sits and clogs that'll end up with a heart attack sooner or later. Very likely.

thanks in advance!

Hi there Zyn, welcome. I'm in a similar position to you, and also would like an answer.

I injected unfiltered Subutex tablets mixed with dipenhydramine twice a day for around 2 years, and also temazepam and diazepam whenever I could get my hands on it. And yes I know how stupid this was. Far as I know, it's the fillers and binders the body has a hard time dealing with, as it's not passed the GI tract or something. I've heard that this crap sits in the lungs?

I haven't injected anything for 4 years now, and I'm in good health, with no symptoms at all I could put down to the shit I injected. I do have a cough, but I'm a heavy smoker.

Way I see it, I must have untold grams of all that chalky shit I injected over the years just lurking somewhere in my body, and I'm kind of paranoid/ curious about what's gonna happen in the end.

Wondering same thing . have one vein i shot out n its hard feels like a large spaghetti noodle under flesh blood doesn't flow through it does it need removed or is it jus scar tissue

Once my veins began collapsing, I noticed these tiny little purple veins forming around the same areas those collapsed veins were. These spidery, ugly little things kind of faded away in the end, but does anyone know what they were, and why they started appearing?

It's been around four years since I injected last. For a while, my circulation was terrible; in cold weather my hands would become very swollen and red, and I've been told by veteran shooters this is a tell-tell sign of an injector. This winter though, I've noticed my hands are normal coloured in cold weather, and I no longer have pains in my hands. Could this be a sign my veins have started to re-build themselves in the past few years?

^^^

Yeah my circulation sucks too. My hands are like permanently cold/blue in the winter. Happens when you collapse most of them.

And yeah, they do build back up after a while of being sober. You'll notice new smaller veins start popping up to compensate for the ones you collapsed, your circulation will get better, etc.

Ah, it's horrible in cold weather; for a while they did go kind of blue-ish in colour, also got some really bad pains in the hands, too. But I think I'm noticing a definite improvement though, so I guess that's a good sign. It's interesting how the body manages to repair itself, even after serious abuse. Those weird little spidery veins are gone know; I guess that was pretty much my body trying to get blood to the places it needs to be.

Accidentally missed vein - shot small amount of cocaine into my arm tissue.

Hi,

I just accidentally shot about 20cc of cocaine into my arm (very small shot). There is a small, slightly painful lump, as expected. I've heard that missing with cocaine is way worse than with heroin because it isn't as fat soluble, so it just stays there. Does anyone have any advice as to what to do to reduce my chance of infection?

Thanks,
Niksput
