Hi!

Is it Isopropanol (I can get 99.80% pure) that it's soluble in?

I can also get ethanol 96% pure, will it be soluble in that?

If the answer is no, what is it soluble in?

yes, it will dissolve in the etoh, but you need to stir and run under hot water. A magnetic stirring with built in hotplate would be optimal. Don't use ipa. An ethanol/propylene glycol would be best, but you may need to adjust the pH for optium injectability. Run it through a .45 micron filter or smaller. Make the solution ad concentrated as possible, so you'll only need .1-.2cc, the fill the rest with bacteriostatic water. I've gotten 10mg/ml with phen and absolute ethanol.

Also, don't expect much. It will feel much like IV Ativan, which is better than oral, but in my mind not worth it. Maybe try IV etizolam, I better it would have a much stronger rush. You'd me among the first..

Whats the point of etoh if u are using propylene glycol? Couldn't you just get it to dissolve in a small amount of prop. glycol and then dilute it down with bacteriostatic water, then run it through a micron filter to get a safe, injectable solution?-DG

Usually benzo formulations for injection contain an alcohol (ethanol or benzyl alcohol), propylene glyco (main solvent)l and PEG 400. However, the BnOH is not used for solvent purposes, its simply used as a preservative/bactericidal agent.

The reason i said Ethanol and not PG alone is because i've personally had issues getting it to dissolve in PG. However, my PG was not 99% pure, so that may have been the problem. But yes, if you can get a high concentration of the benzo to dissolve in PG, you don't need ethanol, unless you want to add a little for bacteriostatic purposes (I believe benzyl alcohol is superior in this regard, but ethanol still is a relatively powerful bactericidal agent). I suppose if your ultimately running it through a .2 micron filter, you may not need a bactericidal agent.

Again i think its best to use as little of phenazepam solution as possible (like 10 units), and then add 50-60 units of bacteriostatic water, regardless of the solvent you decide to use.

But yes, PG is theoretically better if you can get it dissolve in high concentrations. I've just had a hard time with it. Perhaps the PEG 400 would increasing the strength.

I haven't done it, but I assume that if you added bacteriostatic water to a PG or EtOH solution saturated with phenazepam, the phenazepam would stay in solution.

Again with phenazepam, it might not be worth while, unless your a fan of ativan ampules.

Would the 96% ethanol be ok to use or do I need 99%?

I can get benzyl alcohol if that would be alot easier? It'd be cheaper and 99% pure.

If I was to use that I wouldn't need to use propylene glycol then would I, just the benzyl' and some bacteriostatic water?

Would I still need a microfilter? As this is pure powder, not tablets or cut stuff.

What amounts/concentrations of ethanol + propylene glycol should I use per 1mg of Phenazepam and what amounts/concentrations should I use for benzyl alcohol and 1mg of Phenazepam?

Thanks!

95% alcohol 5% water solutions works fine dissolving phenazepam with a little heat and shaking.

i am dirt fucking poor. how much does peg cost? i think a half liter of everclear is like 10 bucks. isnt peg really viscus, like would you be able to measure doses with a 30 guage insulin syringe?

Everclear comes in .750 liters and 1.75 liter containers. If you have enough money to buy phenazepam you should have enough money to buy a scale and a solvent...

You mean .5 and 1 liters. If everclear came in 1.75 liter, I would get two to three parties smashed.

phenazepams pracitically weed prices now.

With most of the most main, custied out distribiuters, selling ghit at at actual fuckin weed prices. It's alot easier than come across the phen than affording a .001 scale (that sounds fucking expensive) and a good selection of reagants.
Everclear like impossible to get, even though it's legal. and nI'm currenty search for some other solvents, best of luck

I've stuck probably 100mg of etizolam in PG/EtOH into my femoral vein, and it's most definitely not worth it. No rush, substantial reduction in length of activity, and just less euphoric in general. The only time I've ever gotten anything special out of IV benzos was when i was getting 4mg ativan pushes in my triple-lumen central catheter in the hospital (especially when I had a friend sneak in some heroin and prefilled the lumen with it >_>). Water soluble benzos, OTOH, are supposed to be a different story altogether and I'd love to try some.

Edit: The only benefit of slamming PG-dissolved benzos is avoiding that godawful taste, although white unsweetened grapefruit juice helps a lot in this department (not to mention the CYP3A4-killing effects)
