Stimulants Injecting meth into hand?-- I think I hit a nerve or something?

My arms have awful scar tissue from overuse, so I haven't been injecting in them. Instead, I've been using my hands. I missed a tiny bit of a shot, I think, because now the top of one of my hands is red, slightly swollen, and numb. There's no bump that I can see. Is this a missed shot, or did I hit a nerve or something?
Also, how can one tell if they hit a nerve?

I don't think it's anything to worry about but keep an eye on it. If it doesn't go away in a few days or gets worse, seek medical attention.

I had the same thing happen to me and it took a week or two but the lump/redness eventually disappeared.

It could be as simple as the tissue around the injection site is irritated and that definitely happens when shooting in the back of your hands, especially with caustic or semi caustic shit like speed or some RCs.

Missed shot. When you hit a nerve, you'll fucking know it, it's an unmistakable feeling that travels along the length of the nerve. it's like your nerve is an electric guitar string and you just strummed it with the needle.

Warm compress, gentle massage, keep it sterile, monitor for inflammation and radiation of heat. If these things get worse, go seek medical attention.
