I am trying new places to start IVing meth. She started out with heroin years ago in her inner elbows like most people, and when those got difficult she switched to her hands and would switch between the two. She then switched to meth about a year ago, and it's a little more harsh on her veins than heroin was, and she didn't realize it was a little different and required different things than heroin, and has seamed to do some major damage. Her inner elbows are nearly impossible anymore, but her hands work GREAT, the only problem is she hates how obvious and visible the track marks are. The next place that came to her mind was feet, because those stay fairly hidden.
She tried a vein on the outter side, and had NO luck, didn't have a single drop of blood in the syringe. She's always tied off, so she had it tied off just above the ankle. Instead of trying over and over again and getting frustrated, she wanted to turn to people who have successfully used the veins in their feet for advice, pointers, and especially WHAT NOT TO DO's.!
I also isn't objected to trying other areas if anyone has some other spots they can give advice on/explain. The more hidden/less noticeable the better.!
THE MORE DETAIL THE BETTER,too.! Even if it seams irrelevant or like common sense to you-it might really help I or someone else trying to get help from this thread.
Thank you.
