Ingesting triple C's (DXM) at night, and around family?

Hello Friends,
SWIM would like to know if taking Coriciden HBP extra strength tablets at night will make SWIM talk/mumble without actually intending to? SWIM is considering on reaching the 2nd Plateau by ingesting 5 tablets(according to dark ridge calculator this is SWIM'S recommended dosage upon reaching the 2nd plateau). SWIM weighs around 175 lbs, and 5' 6".
Some addition information SWIM hopes on having an answer to;

1. How likely is SWIM going to become very nauseous after CCC. (SWIM has a small phobia of vomiting)

2. Would ingesting Delsym cough syrup be the better/easier/safer way to go to reach the 2nd plateau?

3.this is SWIM's 2nd time doing DXM (first time was up to the first plateau using 2.3 OZ. of delsym), Any additional and very helpful information would be greatly appreciated. SWIM plans on tripping around family?

this. you can get red as hell and vrry itchy, also your pupils will be visibly dilated. your parents will know something's up unless you take a very low dose or are enough experienced to dissimulate the effects.
also why would you trip infront of your parents? hows that pleasurable/funny in the slightest?

Do not take coricidin / CCC's recreationally, that stuff is dangerous in doses higher than therapeutic ones. Google it.
DXM can be pretty disgusting and IME it is not unheard of or unlikely to get nauseous or vomit from it. IIRC Delsym is safer by the way, check the label for active ingredients. It should only say DXM ( = dextromethorphan HBR or HCl)

Thank you all for your comments. SWIM took 5 CCC's last Night. SWIM reported being very itchy and a little giddy at first. After a period of about an hour SWIM fell asleep? and didn't wake up for another three hours to get a drink of water (cotton mouth). Upon getting up from bed SWIM felt the effects that were felt on his last trip; Slow reaction time, euphoria, and a numb-ish feeling around the body. The effects were said to be enjoyable, but after about ten minuets SWIM wanted to sleep again. SWIM woke up this morning without feeling any high. SWIM was very upset that the actual "trip" was wasted
Why did SWIM feel so sleepy? Shouldn't it have been the other way around?
Also why didn't the CCC's last even a mere 6 hours??!

The chlorpheniramine in Coricidin is a antihistamine/anticholinergic and causes drowsiness and dry mouth among other things. The DXM in Delsym is time released and lasts longer than the DXM Hbr in other preparations. If there are any active ingredients other than DXM in the product you use, you'll get the side effects of that drug in addition to the DXM. This can be unpleasant or even dangerous.

Using SWIM isn't allowed here on BL. There's no point in trying to pretend you're talking about someone else. Have fun & be safe...

Welcome to Bluelight. If you insist on repeating the experiment (not recommended due to your circumstances) try to get some pure dxm powder. CCC is dangerous in recreational doses because of the other chemicals in the mix. Delsym is better, but still not ideal. And no SWIM on bluelight, it doesn't protect you legally at all and makes posts confusing to read.

is that so? I must be the exception when I was in highschool doing DXM at home for no reason my only probably was that I always THOUGHT they could tell but they had no idea.

Do not take 'Triple C's. You want a 100% DXM only drug. You're on a good forum, LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE! And read up on erowid, please...
