I would be willing to bet these are echers.

I picked up a number of these myself earlier in the year - I don't eat those horrible things, but everyone else said they were pretty decent (general consensus being good, but not spectacular).
We got them in Northern NSW (Byron), and I'm told thats where they are originating from. I know people say that sort of thing all the time without actually knowing shit, but I saw so many down there it wouldn't surprise me.
I think you would need to eat a couple of them just to contemplate the sheer number of grey tiles (blanks - whatever)that were floating around at the time - so I think there is a fair chance that it is the same batch - good luck!

Personally I think it's dangerous for you to include too much specifics about buying drugs for others. It makes you look like a dealer. It's up to you I guess though.

bobrick, thanks for the info. I used to live up Byron way and we got a lot of 'blank' cid that was good. Sometimes on little chunks of cardboard!.
Anyway, can you give me a description just to be sure that I'm looking at something similar?

Grey Tiles - small square peices of blotter paper - totally plain with that grey cardboardy colour and texture. Perferated.
They look really dodgy - like your being ripped off.
I saw a guy eat 2 at once - he didn't look like he was having a good time and I couldn't get a word out of him for hours. He said the next day he couldn't remember many specifics of the night, but it was "introspective". I got the feeling it was a fairly negative experience and he hasn't tripped since.

Getting on a bit in age if the old batch (apparently around a few months ago), i've heard good reports about the old blanks. Grey bits of cardboard, that are supposedly double-dipped.
Heard they were pretty good gear, although you know how each batch of trips is different, these ones are pretty good quality from what i can gather.
There had been a bit of an acid drought of late. Personally, i thought the eschers were nice, but not strong enough for my liking. Bang for your buck and all that. These though, aren't the eschers.
