Incredible changes in drug of choice

Well, this isn't a change in DOC, but more opening up to things out there.

I used to have an opiates only policy, because other drugs would make me too fucked up to remember things, or function properly, like weed, alcohol and benzos. But, then I was introduced to mushrooms, and it was great. Good body high, no "fucked up" kind of feeling, clear head and I remembered it all. So now I'm willing to try things as they come, as long as they aren't stimulants...I can't get over the paranoia from them.

Ive changed my DOC numerous times over the years. I started off with weed and Psychedelics and then switched it up to opiates for awhile and now I'm back into Psychedelics again.

I loved that OP you really painted a picture in my mind of that crackhouse , That was some great writing there :D

I thought cannabis was the cats meow when I was a teenager. Now I don't even smoke. I am married to psychedelics and opioids at the moment.

As with a lot of people my Doc went from Cocaine/stims -> opiates/downers

I have said it before, and will say it again...most people end up maturing, and "growing out of" uppers. Yes they are pleasurable, but they are not sustainable, and tend to go sour very quick. Opiates are a very strong high as well but they tend to preserve you a bit more and havea more gradual downfall to them

Uppers are cool and all, but the next day you're wrecked (unless you take more in which case you end up tweaked like a mofo). When I was using opiates daily, I loved that the next day I could get up all fresh, put a piece of a durogesic patch in my mouth and carry on business as usual. No residual effects - well unless you overdid it, in which case the nausea can be quite bad.

But the problem comes in when you're dependant, it sucks having to maintain. Even though I could get by on codeine, it was costing a fortune to get the right OTC brand.

I suppose when I first started, like Mr. B, I also didn't have a DOC.

I loved E and weed and benzos and Vicodin, but I was willing to take whichever of these were around. I guess E and weed were the closest to a DOC because I would seek these out (whereas I had rxs for the others).

The I tried Heroin and it was alllllll over. That was my first, true love.

Yeah, when I first started getting high I guess you could say my DOC was weed. I would smoke weed all day everyday, along with doing the occasional coke/x/meth/trip etc. Then I tried heroin and thats when shit drastically changed. After that first shot, I was never the same lol.

I used to be horribly addicted to coke. Started the summer before my freshman year of high school, stayed on it all through high school until about a month after graduation. Did it once about 6 months later, overdosed and refuse to touch it now. I don't even like being around people who are on it.

Messed around with Xanax for about a year. I was selling it and made more than enough money. I made enough where I could dip into my supply and have tons of money.

Then I just stuck to alcohol for a while.

And for the past 3 years I've been doing heroin non stop. I don't even drink anymore. The only drugs I'll touch now are opiates and benzos.

None of my friends understand how I went from a 4 and a half year coke habit to being a junkie. But oh well :\

My changes have always been from coke to meth, but my biggest and weirdest change was switching from meth to heroin.

I have never used opiates recreationally-- even in the past vicodin and oxy were never my thing. But I loved and will always love heroin, it is the best high, meth cannot even compare, the cost is just too damn high.

once i started i just did what ever was around. never much of a change because i can enjoy any high. i just do what sounds right at the time. if its been around here ive done it, meh.....

oh i used to be a real old school weed and pyschedlics man. then a few gooood doses of some opiates changed my mind. then went through a painkiller phase. lately tho more shift back to the basics.
