Increasing dosage after Oxycodone wears off?

I was wondering what all of you do after taking your initial dose of opiates like oxycodone. When it wears off, do you take the same amount to get back up? More? or less because there's already some in your system. I'm always taking more but i'd like to know if i'm just wasting pills. Thanks to all who offer your input!

I usually take a lower dose. ie If I snort an 80mg and it wears off in about 3 hours then Id wait a bit then take a 20 or 40.

Well, it sorta depends on my supply.

If I had a endless amount.... then I'd do whatever make me feel best, which is in most cases after my first dose, to do less than my first - usually gets me back to where I was.

Each successive dose i take is either the same dose or higher, usually higher.

i preferably just dose one time, then let it wear off. if you keep swallowing pills to 'get you back up there,' you're just chasing a high and you'll never really get there, plus you're wasting money.
