In my darkest hour

In my darkest hour
I wish to be alone
To face the demons in my mind
To crush them to the bone
The fight is mine alone
The battle I must win
Will good triumph over evil
Or do I commit my final sin
My existance has lead me here
My course is now in doubt
My mind says I should keep fighting
My soul says "I want out"
I have grown tired of the fighting
Resolution is what I seek
My body is bruised and scared
My resolve has grown so weak
The demons now are at the door
They want another round
Do I answer and resume the fight
Or quit without a sound
In my darkest hour
I wish to be alone
To face the demons in my mind
To find a peaceful home
