We need to get you on Soundcloud G-money! ;)

not going to host this on soundcloud...it's not perfect by any means...just a glimpse of what i've been working on so it's definitely worth a listen. lots of really clean mixing and phrasing going on in this one but there's a few chin-stroker flubs when the keys and transitions don't match up :( this was recorded monday so i've had another two cracks at it since then...going to make it smooooooooth for friday night ;)

you had to make this the day after Farina. I'm gonna have to sleep all day sunday to catch up from this week lol

just came across this thread when Gizzmo mentioned it to me...

I am not really concerned about the flyer/billing... i understand the lounge/main room split with billing those sections differently and being billed after Jack is interesting. But let me make it clear that i am not offended. I do understand why some would think i am offended, but really in the grand scheme this is peanuts to me.

A flyer is a flyer. Being on them is not an achievement for me, i don't save them. I prefer to promote myself with the music i release and the performances i give, not the pieces of paper that bare my name and affiliations.
I try to let my music speak for itself, and i plan to do just that this evening. I mean that in the most literal sense possible... my music... the last 5 EPs i've written since Therapy closed. Material that i am the most proud of over anything else i've done since 2005.

I'm playing at midnight while Xavier is on, and i assume most folks who won't be interested in Xavier will be interested in hearing techno instead, so its a good contrast as far as time slots are concerned.

So with that said, I'm looking forward to it.

Techno's coming back.

second room during the headliner is often the best slot for some reason.

sorry i couldn't make it. me = sleepy

I really don't think it's that big of a deal man. Adam has said nothing about the flyer billing shit at all.

Yeah, people who worry about billing are people who have to worry about billing; Adam doesn't have to worry about billing.

All was well.

edit. Ach! I just realized that this comment could be construed as a slam on Lisa (and Jack, actually), which was not the case. The sentence was constructed simply for its rhythm and the glory of the semi-colon.

semi-colon <3

And that's exactly how it was planned. Something for the tech-junkies to bump to while the upstairs was spitting the ravetastic blast! haha

I think we juggled the 2 rooms very nicely genre-wise. That's all we were trying to do.

I know Adam wasn't hatin....as long as he got his sub and proper sound action. :p=D

With that said....thanks to ALL who made it out and contributed in one way or another. It exceeded my expectations, to be honest.

I don't know about you guys, but I got high off the air in that place. So many noobs getting introduced to shit they typically cast aside as "OMG that techno rave music stuff".....they were throwing down and having a great time.

It's unfortunate more DJ's didn't have demos to pass around.

I know that may be too old school for you digitotalitarians, but some of you may have some new fans. I know Jack does. ;)

People gobbled up the 100+ Xavier CD's I was passing out, and they had no idea what I was handing them. lol

I'll do what I can to get your music to those who ask me for it.

Thanks again! Our next one is January 22nd at Tru. Got something dirty for you tech heads. :o

Techno's coming back.

That makes me smile. <3

As I was walking around enjoying the energy and atmosphere I realized that this decade is coming to an end and thought about how the EDM scene has progressed in the past ten years. As Matt said, "you could get high off the air in that place" and that's something I haven't experienced much recently.
Techno's coming back.
^this

So many people came together to make this event possible and the result shows it! <3
