In a world far away
I am one person, with one face
I don't hide from people who
Dare to care for me
Those things I know they won't like -
And yet I find acceptance in their eyes.
I don't run off to do the things
I don't like to do
But feel wickedly happy about how well I do them.
In a world far away
I am with you
I don't miss you
I don't fall for you harder each time
You leave me only to return again
I see you
In that place
You know everything about me
Even those things that would hurt you
And you still love me
You still hold me
You still talk with me about mindless things
And about intense things
In that world
I know peace
It comes because all the parts of me
Are unified into one
And I am whole
Hiding nothing and pretending no more.
One day I will end my journey
And find myself in that world.

I hope so too! Reading over that now (I typed it fresh onto the submit thing) it sounds kinda down, but it was more the positive yearning to be real all the time... I'm working up the courage
