Rising Sun
Glory to behold,
The Gods are calling, smiling,
Beckoning towards destiny.
Blades raised,
Praise and homage, honor and courage,
Brothers bound to purpose
Celebration, sake at sunrise.
Machines rumble, eager to roar
The roar of war,
War machines at the ready
A final salute,
A cheer,
BANZAI
Sons of samurai,
Riding mechanical horses to the drumbeat:
The beat of a modern army march,
The beat of the sun climbing the sky,
The beat of their hearts with excitement, fears, the uncertainty of inescapable destiny yet to be found.
Wings of steel,
Winds of death,
The future cannot wait, the present slips away.
It is a good day to die.

This was inspired by flipping channels and seeing a host wearing a Rising Sun t-shirt with Japanese writing on it combined with a recent viewing of Kamikazi's and their effect in WWII on the History Channel.
