Thanks for posting your story dude, it's so easy to forget that we're just fragile human beings walking around on a little planet in a little galaxy in a little universe in a little...? As small as we are is as fast as our lives can change forever.

I remember back about 7 years ago when I was living in a halfway house. When I just got there, one of the old timers told me "Son, if I told you how amazing your life is gonna be in a year, you wouldn't believe me." Sure as shit, I stayed clean and he was right, at the time he told me that it was impossible for me to fathom just how great life could be. If that old dude is still alive, I have to believe he'd say the same thing to you and if he's not, then I'll say it for him. Keep looking forward brother, time will heal. guaranteed.

God i am so sorry to hear this. I guess one good thing is you weren't shot a bit higher up for you'd be a Quadrepelegic and not be able to move or feel your arms or legs, maybe even your neck. There are quads who can move their neck and shoulders but most can't even move their neck. I guess that's one good thing. Could have been a lot worse in many ways. Not that what happened wasn't bad, it was VERY BAD what happened to you, like you said your whole life has changed..

wow. that's intense man....way back in the day i knew a dealer who was parapalegic because his own brother shot him in the back over a deal....he was still dealing tho....glad to hear you've left that part of your life behind you....

i hope things get easier for you with the pain and anxiety.....

Someone is ignorant for sure, but it isn't so much him. In what area is 21 considered being a teenager? And did I miss where he said the kid that shot him was black? How do you know he is a prick? Is the guy you get your dope from a prick? Isn't "new and original" a bit redundant?
