sweaty & recooperating,
i'm not thinking of you.
instead, i'm plotting ways
to see him tomorrow.
thinking of things to say to him,
& how to apologize to you.
how to say i'm sorry
without you knowing why...
because if you knew, you'd hate me
& you would hurt you
but can't you already tell
how distant my lust & love & thoughts are?
maybe you're in just as much denial as me.
