TDS IM hepc+ and a alchy

I was in quite deep with diazepam and drink for a good while, something had to give.

Alcohol was definitely having much more serious effects on my physical and mental health than I realised until I managed to stop, although I have relapsed a couple of times since.

I was able to CT thew alcohol as I was already using so much diazepam, I could have got a script for librium but didn't need it. Getting clear of alcohol is something I would strongly recommend if you''re drinking heavily, it's such a damaging habit and dragrs you down in just about every way.

Tapering off the benzos was a much longer process but once I had gained control of my dosing it was easier to live with than booze...no dry heaving for a start ;)

Alcohol with hepatitis is just asking for a slow and painful death. You likely have pancreatitis as well. I recommend absolutely anything other than alcohol or acetaminophen-containing opioid formulations just to get you through each day. Even on benzodiazepines and opiates you can still heal from most of the damage of alcohol and extend your life.

DWE one thing I noticed when taking baclofen is it helped with my cravings for alcohol. Also useful for alcohol withdrawals and not metabolized by the liver.

I've been taking 20 mg a couple times a day, but could get by with 10 mg cos I'm a light weight. (they sometimes break messy so I take a whole tablet) Really it's helped me because it was hard to keep alcohol around else I would drink all of it. I can open a beer and not even finish it, and I've never been able do this before. If you're coming off a binge, you might start with 3 times a day.
