Harm Reduction Im having to go off benzos for the 3rd time. FML

So as im sure alot of you are aware that Benzo withdrawal has to be the single worst thing to have to do.
I done it twice. Once cold turkey at 4mg (clonazepam) for 2years. It was hell and never again will i do something so stupid. The second time i was on the same dose but i did 0.25 decrease every 7 days. It sucked but was much much more doable.

Point of my post is that for a 3rd time in my life stress and the need to get high have hit me and ive been taking anywhere for 3mg to 6 mg a day for about a month. im stable at 3mg now.

I want to do a relative quick taper (although safe) so if i go 2mg for 2 days, 1 mg for 2 days, 0.5mg for 2 days and then 0.25mg for 2 days is this a slow enough taper to not a seizure?

I would do it even SLOWER man...ive had to do a benzo withdrawal about 4 times and opiate withdrawals like twice....horrible and sorry you have to go through this...but anyways...id say 2mg for 2 days...then go to 1 mg for 3-4 days....0.5 for about 5 days so you can stabilize....then .25 for about a week...TO assure you a safe and less painful withdrawal!...just my opinion...I know what im saying....what you suggested is just too fast and you will have horrible withdrawals especially if you have to completely get off klonopin cold turkey....thats what im on right now but 2mgs a day.....I used to be on 4mgs a day but recently went down.
 
just saw you wanna do it relatively quicker...okay well do what you said but plz consider adding a day to each mg decrease for instance instead of 2 days on 1mg do 3 days, 3 days on 0.5 and FOUR days on .25...thats 8 days...pretty quick and will help you with youor withdrawals way better! thanks...the more days the better.
 
Why do Benzos and weed have to be so good together?? I wish i could live my life 100 percent of the time on cloazepam and weed.
 
I found clonazepam withdrawal to be really bad, it gave me a seizure - be careful!
