^^ Guys let be honest with ourselves here.. EVERY HUMAN BEING ON EARTH gets "Major Depression" or "Anxiety" at sometimes in our lives... Is it like for you guys that you are feeling depressed like 100% of the day or something? I'm just trying to understand... I know manic people go from like one extreme to the other really quick right?
It may be that our understanding of the terms you are using are not the same, but I completely disagree with your statement.
Clearly everyone goes through hard times, bereavements, relationship problems or just plain life can get us all down from time to time, suggesting these feelings are the same as those that suffer from a mental health issue shows a lack of understanding that is unfortunately far from uncommon.
Depression, like all mental health issues can't be summed up in a few lines, it covers a wide range of symptoms and varying levels but IME 'every human being on earth' does not go through months or years living everyday with thoughts of suicide, hopelessness and desperate isolation. Whilst life events may be a contributing factor often these symptoms seem unrelated to the current situation, good things tend not to be recognised as such by someone who suffers from such things.
I'm not big on editing peoples posts but you might try and be a little more sensitive about your approach, your post came over as quite judgemental whilst at the same time proclaiming ignorance on the subject.
