Kyle Long never planned to become a DJ. Friends, impressed by his large record collection and extensive music knowledge, forced him to play his first gig. When this first performance led to an invitation to perform with tabla master Badal Roy, Long immediately decided to pursue the craft full time. Known for his genre exploding mixes, it's not uncommon to hear him blending early 70's Ethiopian jazz music with the latest Dubstep records from London. Long has established successful monthly Brazilian, Arabic and Indian music events in Indianapolis, the first of their kind in his hometown. In 2009 Long partnered with visual artist Arthur Silva to form Cultural Cannibals a clothing brand and event production company.
