I did it in the 80s at the height of the LSD myths everything from rat poison to LSD building up in your spine was shit everyone believed. There was no interwebs to disprove anything. My friends didn't do harm reduction, in fact they were skateboard punks who spent whole trip trying to fuck with each other. Giving your friend a bad trip was literally a goal. I can't think of a more unhealthy environment for tripping. I should have waited until adulthood, that's the only thing i would have changed.
